This is a smalll restaurant that offers camping in between the trees a few meters back from the beach. Quite a few local people camping here (in tents), but nice and quiet during night. Rough access road, but should be navigable in a small rig. Price: 5000 colones
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
The camping still open but you need to ask Tanga and sure he will accomodate you. They only accept cash and restaurant serve only breakfast and lunch.
Report Check-InMake sure you let them know you want to camp on their property, and not on the beach. We asked if there was camping and we’re told ‘No’, until we pointed out our rooftop tent vehicle.
Report Check-InGreat local campground! We pulled in and were greeted by screaming howler monkeys. We were charged $7/person, but it was such a beautiful spot and the people were so nice that we didn't mind. We were steps from the beach - lots of exploring nearby (oceanfront rocks, snorkeling, swimming, fishing). Close to a local beach - recommend staying on the far left side of the campground closer to the water. Showers / toilets / water (boil first) / bottled refreshments all available. Electricity available if you ask.
Report Check-InSuch a wonderdul place ! We arrived around 18h30 pm with our 4x4. No one here, the owner was so nice and cooked for just two of us a very Good meal (no choice of the menu). Shower, restrooms cutes and clean !! Wonderdul view on the beach, quiete. One Word : relaxant !
Report Check-InGood place with direct access to the beach. Camping is costy 4000c pp, kids more than 5 pay full price.
Owner is nice but he is business oriented
Food at the restaurant is good. Not possible to negotiate the camping price even if you eat at the restaurant.
Overall nice experience
A really cozy bar/restaurant with a camping spot right next to the most beautiful beach ever...
Report Check-InVery rustic campsite. Electricity available, showers and bathrooms are in good shape as well as the sink. No WiFi yet. The place where you park is very shaded but not leveled and it can get muddy with the rain. Lots of mosquitos at night. Don Carlos Tanga the owner is a very interesting man, he has lots of stories to tell, he is very friendly and helpful. He has a restaurant on site. Beach front, Pet friendly, and it is the closest place to park and walk to the surf spot. I highly recommend this place if you are a surfer. We had a blast
