Easy parking lot right off the road but not noisy at night. No service, no restroom (there looks to be a vault toilet but when you walk up it says it’s a pump house and the closest toilet is a quarter mile in an unknown direction). There are no “no camping” signs. We stayed for 2 nights and had at least a few other driving rigs there with us each night.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
There is caution tape surrounding the parking lot and a “no camping, no fire” sign posted. It looked to be temporary prohibition (the sign was laminated, not a permanent looking fixture) but heads up in case! Did not spend the night here regrettably - perfect location between Yellowstone and Teton otherwise!
Report Check-InRecommended by a ranger. It's a parking lot. No amenities, but it's free! No Verizon signal. Places to walk your dog.
Report Check-InAwesome spot right by the river and in between Grand Teton & Yellowstone. It’s right off the road but the noise wasn’t bad. We had a few neighbors (class A, C and a few tent and vehicle campers). Lots of mosquitoes.
