A perfect place to camp, area with trees too. You have to be careful of the muddy areas in the rainy season. Super safe area. At night there are quite a few mosquitoes and moths.

be careful with the heavy rain >> made a big river through the first meadow w/ some boulders
Otherwise is pretty nice place to stay and chillex
We stay here 2 nights, this place is very nice, quiet, and clean! Local come here during the day to swim or to do laundry. We stayed in the first meadow it was perfect. It is not really easy to swim from here since there is lot of mud, but the water is clear and warm. Some mosquitoes at sunset. No Telcel.
Report Check-InGreat place to camp, really quiet at night, started coming people at 6.
great view of the lagoon and beautiful sky full of stars
Report Check-InAwesome spot. Great for a SUP board. Locals all come here during the day to hang out, swim, and wash clothes. Everyone I talked to was super friendly. They confirmed that people come here to tent camp often.
I was totally alone at night and it’s pitch black. Might put some people off if not traveling in a group, but at least stop for the day. It’s great for a swim.
Report Check-InWe tried to get down to this place but there wasn't clearance for our 11 feet 8 inch truck. Otherwise the spot by the small lake looked nice.
Report Check-InQuiet and safe night along the side of a lake. There's also a garbage bin there.
Report Check-InQuite place next to the lake. I pitched a tent here one night. Accessible by bike or hiking a hundred meters from the main road. You can swim and wash in the lake.
Report Check-InNice campsite, safe quiet and no problem getting to it in the rainy season.
Report Check-InNice place to stay, I was there in rain-season. My tent got all wet since during night there was building up a river where I piched it. If you choose your spot clever there should be no issue. Street was in super good shape even with a lot of rain.
There were some guys drinking beers the whole evening on the parking spot (Saturday night). Apart from that super quiet.
Report Check-InAs described, beautiful spot, quiet at night sorrounded by nature.
Going throw 'Palenque-La Trinitaria' route, the dirty road entrance is next to 'Cabañas Valle Tziscao'.
I was in rainy season and the road was fine for almost any vehicle, as it is narrow, not sure about big rigs.
