Description

Camping spots along the Selway river - there are many to find. From highway 12 it's 7 miles tarmac and after that 12 miles terrible road, full of potholes, dirt road till the end of the road. There are a lot of campgrounds and wild camp spots all along the dirt road. You can get here with every vehicle. No cell service at all.

Latest Check-Ins

We drove all the way to selway falls and found a great spot near a pit toilet across the river. $4 a night. Worth every penny! Wild apples and black berries everywhere!

Report Check-In

Road up to this site changed from asphalt to dirt about a half mile off the main roadway and after waiting ten minutes to be able to proceed at the road work flagger, I backed out of here and headed for a different spot.

Report Check-In

Unfortunately the road out here was closed at hwy 12 as of today due to a landslide.

There are many spots through here. Some free spots right on the river, so beautiful! Road was a bit bumpy in spots, definitely needed to slow down on occasion. Many sedans made it, no problem. I probably wouldn’t bring a vehicle with really low clearance, but a Civic would be fine. Selway Falls was not really a Falls, but very beautiful nonetheless. The one pay spot I checked was $8. Get a map from the visitor center prior to the dirt road.

Report Check-In

Road is terrible, I wouldn’t even bother. I was worried I was going to break an axle.
