Passamos uma noite aqui! Conhecemos o dono Charlie, que é um cara muito querido e inteligente. Esse lugar é um paraíso no meio do nada. A comida do restaurante é EXCELENTE, e eles possuem Starlink. Fiquei com vontade de voltar e passar uns dias nos quartos.

Great place ! Charlie is super nice, the dogs as well, and views from the back are the most fantastic. Very quiet and a not cold at night, but sunny in the day (including in the rainy season).

We decided not to stay after checking out the place. It seemed nice enough, but one of the dogs came flying out at us barking aggressively, and, it wasn't the nicest welcome. The toilets and facilities are up at the main building, which is a long way from the camping area. The place for vehicles has no views, as it's obstructed by large trees. The hammocks are out in full sun, and the day was too hot to be able to sit in them. We didnt meet Charlie, who was out for the day. I'm sure in different circumstances we would have liked it here, but found that a wild camp offered what we wanted, with better views.

A beautiful place. we didn t spend the night there but the people we met are very friendly. If you just want to eat at the restaurant you have to call them before to book.

Update: Charlie is super nice. Overlanders are very welcome but the official camping area has been shut down. You can park/put up your tent now on a big grassy area near the guest house. Restaurant is now only for Lodge guests. No WiFi anymore. 15sol pP or trading some books /movies. Btw two male Rhodesian Ridgebacks are here and they are quite territorial,but generally pets are allowed.

We stayed here 3 nights. If you don't need shower and bathrooms, you can stay almost for free. Charlie, the owner and amazing friendly man, will prefer to trade than other. He asked me to tell you this point. If you have some books you don't use in your vehicle or some movies on your hard disc, he will be happy to have it, better than money just to park your vehicle ! Be welcome here

The Lodge is back open for business. Price is 15sol/person/night. No electricity at sites but can charge devices in the restaurant during the day. Restaurant is expensive, 45sol per person for dinner. Clean toilet and shower, friendly staff and two good acclimatization hikes. Wifi ok, reaches the parking area.

Fantastic place with great owners, we'll run and British owned. We arrived on motorcycles unannounced and Charlie the owner was happy to have us. We camped for three nights in this beautiful location with views of the Cordillera and over the valley. The bathrooms, although under construction were very clean and well kept, you even throw the TP in the toilet like a normal person! There is a great, cosy common room and a bunch of hammocks outside. There are also tons of hikes nearby and a beautiful lagoon complete with very old ruins. Camping is 15S per person per night - highly recommended

Stayed here two nights with Lost in the Americas. This lodge itself was closed for renovations when we arrived, but Charlie (the owner) offered to let us camp for free (due to the lack of services on offer). No showers were available because of the construction, but flush toilets were available around the clock in the main building. The restaurant was also closed at the time of our visit but there is a nice common room that we were welcomed to use (great place to watch a movie during a rainy afternoon). Beer and wine were available for purchase. Wifi is also now available but connectivity is highly dependent on weather conditions. Charlie is a most gracious host; he told us about several hikes in the area and even arranged a taxi for us so we could do a one-way hike in the park. Renovations should be completed in time for high season in May, but Charlie says that overlanders are welcome anytime. Highly recommended!

Camped here with When Sparks Fly. Great location and the owner Charlie was very friendly and helpful. Close to the park and he will arrange a cab to the trailhead (60 soles) if you want to leave your rig at the lodge. Wify is intermittent depending on weather and power In the solar charged batteries. We visited in the rainy season and the 600 meters before the lodge road is very wet with deep mud. We had difficulty with our 2 wheel drive rig. Recommend 4 wheel if the road is wet.

Wonderful little lodge at about 11k feet with lots of hiking trails nearby and a great owner. 15S per person per night. Within 5 minutes there are a ton of ruins that were dated to 3500BC. Also a small lake nearby. Incredible views of the valley and mountains. Great place to acclimate.

Beautiful lodge just outside of the park with awesome view on the Cordillera Blanca. At the moment there are some constructions going on. The owner Charly is british and very friendly and helpful. Hot shower and potable water (very tasty!!). From the lodge there are several hiking options available. To eat in the reataurant you should make a reservation. We paid 15 Soles per person.

Great place to spend a few nights. Very quiet at night but also very cold. The view on the cordillera blanca is wonderful. We could leave our car next to the guesthouse while we were on the Santa Cruz Trek. Potable water and hot showers available.

High up in the Cordillera Blanca, Llanganuco Lodge was a fantastic place to spend a few days. It got very cold at night, but the fire pit and absolutely amazing stars more than made up for it. The restaurant will serve meals upon reservation, don't show up expecting to be fed. Several trails, from 30 minutes to 6 days, start within a 15-minute walk of the lodge. Rooms are very expensive, owing to the remote location and the fact three meals are included. The food is also pricey, but very good. Electricity available in the dining room when the generator is running.
