Morocco
2 options here: regular parking for free or parking guard by Mohamed for 30Dh/night where you have access to toilet (out of order when we where there), water, and outdoor shower. Mohamed is really nice and can help you with everything.
Restaurant is now closed.
You can Connect to the wifi of the resort next to the spot; just ask mohammed for the password.
Close to kite spots. Some dogs but not aggressive. Not stinky as describe before. We were 20ish in the area but we heard before covid 250 camping cars !!
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
It is like a campingsite: very full and people with campertrailer are camping here as well. We drove to another spot.
Report Check-InFree campsite area, mostly for big campers and surfers but it is also tent friendly for the bikers. Especially if you need a stay for the night. We stayed a few nights, had a swim on the beach and bought seashells from local fishermen who take them out from the beach daily. Warm sulphur shower for free, toilet in the bushes
Report Check-Inc'est nimporte quoi ce parking ! une hote ces camping caristes qui se croient chez eux et denaturent tout. triste et sale
Report Check-InStaid one night at the parking lot in front of the hotel with some other campers. Paid nothing for the night. A nice and safe spot. If you need wifi you can ask the hotel, you will get it if you drink something at their bar.
Report Check-InStill as below.
Mo was charging 30dh for the camping for motorcycle and tent.
His business is a key for the toilet.
Still as last comments. For a toillet you have to contact Mohamed. We paid 40Dh for parking privee and using the clean toilet of the former restaurant.

Report Check-Invery windy place. we were alone to camp! nice view. no toilets but hot shower thanks to the waterhole.far away from dakhla so dont forget nothing!
Report Check-InNice place to stay a coyple days, we only stayed one night. Nice bay and beach, lot of kitesurfers. Not many campers here for the moment (maybe most french and germans who are staying in the winter already went back to europe?).
Public toilets, restaurant (did not eat here)... and a fantastic view over the lagoon.
We did not noticed the weird smell and negative vibe like described in previous reviews.
It's tidy and the lagoon is beautiful. tap Water smells of Sulphur. Next to the water tower in Dakhla the water is 15p/200 litres. Buy booze at hotel Doumss, it is expensive so best to stock up first.
The overlanders/kitesurfers are very friendly. Excellent kitesurfing.
Driving north. Very windy. Found shelter next to water pump. There is an excavation so even my LE had space. Very friendly locals.
So i guess all overlanders come here during european winter and i was told then there are up to 250 rigs here guess thats why it’s overcrowded. No negative energy whatsoever
Probably the best shelter for wind you'll get in Dakhla. If you have a tent it's already worth it for this reason. Not that bad as described, some really nice people here if you talk to them. No overlander place ofc.
Report Check-InDon´t be afraid, that place is not THAT bad. Nobody was unfriendly, the place is nice, and the food in the restaurant is very good. There is no toilet or shower, Apart from this, it is like a campsite in Europe with many permanent - campers, It is safe and quiet at night.
Report Check-InAs mentionned earlier, very strange atmosphere among these 100+
campers. Those coming here for 15 or more years really rule the place.
Definitely not a place for overlanders, except, may be, for one night.
inofficial campsite. overcrowded.
you can find alway people on there way to on mauretania. so good place to meet other overlander. otherwise no need to camp there
We met a lot of other travellers there, the Restaurant is also nice.
Ok to stay for 1-2 nights.
Great place to park if you want to kite/windsurf or fish on/in the lagoon. Parking and water for free, and a hole is dedicated for emptying the cassettes. No other facilities so far, can change throughout time. Else than that, don't expect a taste of Morocco there. People coming from France and Germany staying there 5 or 6 months, think they rule the place. They even managed to disgusting people from Dakhla to come here and sell bread or whatever. To go shopping, you need to drive the 25kms to Dakhla. Luckily the atmosphere between riders is far much better. Also be careful of the policemen in front of the parking, expecting the first mistake to take 300 dirhams away from you.
Report Check-InNice for kiting but old germans and franch camping there so after 10 everybody is complainng for noise
