Costa Rica
Parking lot of the boutique Fresas del Volcan. The owner told us to stay, access to the restroom during opening hours of the boutique. The owner gave us access to the water to refill our tank. Very nice owner that suggested also to hike in his little trail. Very nice weather compared to the very hot capital. Very quiet place. Wifi [passwords are not allowed}.

Asked if we could camp here with our Jeep gladiator and he said no…said it wasn’t hygienic? We bought some strawberries and left. Big tourist trap.
Report Check-InO lugar é tranquilo, conversamos com o gerente que deixou dormir no estacionamento para subir ao vulcao Poas está perto, tem lembrancinhas e muitas delícias, o pessoal gentil e prestativo, tem água e wifi.
Report Check-Infriendly owners. spent 4000 colones buying snacks and strawberries and they let us camp. car camping is only out front to avoid damaging their grass so it's hectic during the day and difficult to get a spot. just gave to wait out the crowds
Report Check-InVery friendly owner. You can stay overnight use the bathroom and the WiFi for free as long you buy something from his store. We bought some strawberries and they were delicious ! Very quiet and safe.
Report Check-InFriendly staff and owner. Camped here for FREE and the WiFi reached our vehicle. Bathroom during open hours. We bought some strawberries! Much cooler weather so bundle up. Pretty quiet after 9:00pm but noisy around 5:00am. Not a problem for us since we had booked Volcán Poás first thing in the morning. Recommended!
Report Check-InSuper friendly owner! let me stay the night for free incl. wifi! they booked the ticket for the volcano national park entrance as well (needs to be done online)! And then I left my camper here while i went up the Volcano with my Motorcycle first thing the next morning! nice!
Report Check-InParking next to a souvenir shop, we stayed one night. The owner is very nice, we could use the restroom and WiFi. Quiet at night.
Report Check-InVery friendly staff. Can buy drinks, chocolate, strawberries, bread, pastries and all types of souvenirs.
Level spot and room for us and several others.
Oscar gladly met us and showed us where to park. Still free and wifi code worked even after closing. Fairly quiet at night.
Report Check-InWhat an awesome surprise this place was! We were a little weary as we pulled up because we didn't see any space to pitch our tent, but as soon as we met Oscar, the manager, everything changed and he showed us the beautiful grounds in the back. And it was FREE. Bathrooms and wifi available when the place is open (~7am - ~5pm) but (free) water is outside. The highlight for us was Oscar, though. He's one of the most welcoming people we've met on this trip. We bought a box of delicious strawberries to support the business :)
Report Check-InGreat hospitality! Had free samples of cheese, strawberries and wine. We bought some coffee at shop. Quiet and chilly night.
Report Check-Insuper super friendly staff, they even gave us cheese for free! Wifi code is the same but it only worked while the shop was open :( we got water also for the camper at night to avoid someone coming to charge us $10 as the previous Overlander commented.
Report Check-InSpent a quiet night and staff was friendly. Told us we could get water. The next morning a rude guy said $10 for water. NO WAY!!!
Report Check-InVery nice owner. We were able to stay overnight on his parking lot. It's located in town, but we had a quiet night.
