Description

Great hostel. Basic but good and friendly staff. I can recommend the double room (S/50) on the top floor for couples - nice mountain views and reasonably quiet.
Also, great fresh bread at a little bakery shop down the road daily from 5:30pm (house no 335, I think)!

We paid 65 soles for a matrimonial with private bathroom, 55 with shared. They might have dorm rooms as well. The rooms are a bit dated but they were clean and the shower is nice and hot. A simple breakfast is included in the price. We could park our motorcycles inside, there is no space for a car though

Great hostel, really nice garden, friendly helpful staff, good value for Huaraz. We could leave our bikes in the courtyard. Definitely recommend, close enough to town but not right in it!

Great courtyard area, great place to meet other cyclists. Don’t want to complain but... otherwise just okay and not very helpful staff. Depends on who is there. One guy is helpful. Kitchen and bathroom often overflowing trash, shower sometimes hot sometimes not. Kitchen has one pot and refrigerator has rotting food. Breakfast is tea coffee and a slow production of pancakes (cold) with no syrup. Ask for the price without breakfast if you want.

cool hostel with a good vibe. finally not only people staring at their smart phones all day. nice staff (a family) giving you good advice even if you are not interested in booking tours. cheap prices to hire climbing gear.

Once a famous, but nowadays just a very average hostel.
Wifi in all rooms, speed slow to average.
Showers are terrible. Once extremly hot, then all in a sudden very cold.
There is a small kitchen, but very poor equipped.
Courtyard for a few bicycles or 1-2 bikes. Tentcamping possible.
Double with bad: 50soles

Great place, one of my favorite hostels in South America! Moto parking! Has a beautiful big outside area. Stayed here 2 weeks in 2016 and now a month. camping available too in the big grass area, social kitchen and many climbers and trekkers and bikers stay here

Great place! Really calm, spacious garden with tables and chairs to sit and places for camping (12 soles pp) and let our bikes, big living room with TV and DVDs, kitchen ok with a big table to sit in group and little terrace on the second floor to see the beautiful mountains. The wifi is ok but works only in the garden or outside on second floor. I had problems to connect and the receptionist couldn't help me then an other guest change the wifi parameters in my phone (I really don't know what he did though, he was like a superwifiman) and after that it works really well. We had a big room with comfortable beds and a private bathroom for 50 soles. There is hot water in the shower but it lasted only for a few minutes (just enough to put shampoo in my hair but not to rince it lol). The prices are in a picture.

We paid S/15 pP in a 4bed dorm plus S/3 for gas in the kitchen. No parking for cars but as mentioned, there are 3 secure parking lots on the block (we stayed in one in the parallel street behind the hostel - very busy but only S/8 pN).
Very nice staff and calm place. Kitchen not great but usable.

Hot shower, decent wifi, comfortable grass camping space, secure storage for our 2 motos (not space for much more), decent kitchen to use and breakfast available for purchase at reasonable prices. We paid 12 sols pp to camp.

Good option - space just about for 3 bikes inside. Gas shower, good wifi, clean, nice space for relaxing and friendly owner.

40 soles for matrimonial. 15 for dorm. Just fit three motorcycles in lobby area. Toilets run out of TP but clean.

Very laid back hostel. We paid 20S pP in a private room with shared bathroom. Wifi, and kitchen available. Nice courtyard for tent campers. Absolutely no parking for cars but there are several gated parking lots close by. There's a small sign and the entrance is a wood/metal gate that's easily missed. There's a bell next to it. There are many hostels and gated parking lots in this town btw.

Very comfortable and friendly. Nice common area. Kitchen. Wifi. Hot showers. Nice atmosphere. I parked my motorbike inside their gate and put up my tent in their garden with other campers

We stayed a night here because Kobus was sick, I camped and they got a room. The camping area is cramped, this is one of the only places you can camp in Huaraz. The kitchen is very basic, but the rooms are nice. Parking for motorcycles only, but a secure parking lot was right down the street. Electricity available in the office.
