Quiet pretty place behind big rock on the east not west side of highway.
Report Check-InRolled in just after dark and spent the night. 2WD was fine getting in and out. Was pretty quiet, hardly noticed any highway noise (although 24 is quiet this time of year anyways). Zero Verizon signal.
Report Check-InNice spot for the night. The rock is massive, several places behind to camp. Rained but ground stayed nice and firm. Hiked and climbed around a bit in the AM. Very quiet.
Report Check-InA full day of rain made the road to horseshoe canyon impassable in 2wd. we pulled into this place and some spots were muddy but we were able to park on some smooth rock and stay relatively mud free. decent drainage as by morning the puddles were gone. Glad we stopped here because Hanksville flooded.
Report Check-InThis site is on the east side of the road. nice sand and smooth rock for footing. good for a night, would be a hot day to hang out at.
