Description

Campground, cabanas, restaurant, kayak rentals, rafting trips. On a beautiful blue river. Vehicle camping is in the parking lot, price for camping is 50 pesos per person. The guided rafting tour is Class III whitewater but very tranquillo, return transportation is included, quoted price of 2,400 pesos for up to 6 persons in one raft, we were able to negotiate to 1,500 for two people. We had a guide and two assistants on the trip and we loved it. We had no cell phone reception.

There is a footpath leading to the bridge you see in a distance. Cross that bridge and you’ll see another path on your right. If you follow it, you’ll eventually reach a viewpoint with a nice view into a canyon.
Btw: camping now is 100 MEX$ pppn.

Very nice place, busy during the day, after18:00 absolute silence. Best accessible place in the area, only 1km gravel road. 140 pesos for two people in van.
For large motorhomes is only possible in the parking lot, small can stand directly on the river.
Toilets are rarely cleaned, a ladies toilet was totally dirty for 3 days.

came for the rafting.
easy to swim in the river because no powerful currents, but we prefer the free spot at the ioverlander touristic point(blue camera logo)"cascada el Nubes".
we had to pay 150 pesos for 2 adults 2 kids and a camper, expensive just for toilets and shower. wifi is payable by the hour or the day... and not that powerful.

Did rafting here. We were told by the reception are two options at this time of year. 1,5 hour rafting with 'plenty of rapids' for 800 peso's per boat (we were with 6 adults +5kids in 2 boats) or the 2,5h tour which was 2.500mx per boat.
We did the short one and were a bit disappointed as there is only 2 mini rapids in them and only 40min. Better check if you can start in Las Nubes, as only the last 2km is rapids, the rest before is slow paddling.. If we would have known upfront we wouldn't have done the tour at Las Nubes.

We learned river changes completely depending on the season, so check well beforehand. In June it's apparently class 3 rapids from here all the way to Las Nubes...

Camped here as well for 150mx/night per camper. Place is very quiet, no people here on a pandemic monday

Nice, beautiful place! Just besides the blue river. And you can swim there too. We didnt take the boats, but stayed for one night in their parking lot for 50 pesos per person. Child was for free. Day use 25pesos pp. No showers though (under construction). Quiet at night. Just river and jungle sounds.

ok place but very packed, probably because we came during semana santa. $30pp to enter the park, then $50 to park overnight for two vans. Locals that were camped here said they will sleep in their cars for free and only pay if they tent camp.
