good mechanic, nice team and the owner Gunter speaks perfectly English!! he was very patient and took the time to check everything and explained us a lot of things too....price were good and the location is convenient! he even made some phone calls to get prices for us on work he can't do like AC and raising cars! we highly recommend this garage.
Top!!!
Very good place. We arrived at 6 PM and asked for Gunter. He came instantly and was available. unfortunately he doesn't do automatic transmission. One of his guy called another place in Antigua and we were able to see them the next morning.Report Check-In
This place is amazing and Guntar the owner is a great man. He towed us few blocks with his Jeep and didn’t asked any money for this. Then he let us sleep in the parking for free and the next day he did a great job on our Van in a good price.
He was very kind and helpful.
Good mechanic, they changed oil and filters in my sprinter (I already had it)
They checked our brakepads and repaired a sensor that was not working till LA.
Unfortenately our wheels where not well fixed and we lost 3 of the 6 screws of it in Costa Rica. I cheked the other 3 wheels and all of the screws were loose.
Fortunately for me and my family, we realised in a parking place and didn’t happened on the road.
I had a terrible experience here and personally can't recommend this place. The short story is that I went in for a suspension rattle, Gunther said it was the upper ball joint (it wasn't) and in the process of replacing it they screwed up my steering so badly it was undriveable outside of the slow city roads. it took the guys at Macaza 3 hours and two alignments to fix it. steer clear of this shop!Report Check-In
Very good and helpful mechanic. He spend time for us. Possible to spleep in garage. Very cheap for the time passed on our truck. Antigua is very nice.Report Check-In
Gunter is a great mechanic! We tried 3 others for a major battery issues in our 1988 Winnebago motorhome, and he was the only one good and patient enough to figure out the problem - even though his garage was super busy. We also checked the brakes before we go to Atitlan.Report Check-In
Fantastic! Great job. Very helpful staff and good price. Everything checked, oil changed, air filter changed, brakes checked, tires changed position, even repaired something in our water tank. For 600 qtzls. Thank youReport Check-In
Very good mechanic indeed.
Although they couldn't fix our problem, they did a very good job on our Iveco Daily. They have a standard computer that can read our van's. Very helpful
Fantastic mechanic! So glad we found Gunter. He solved a difficult electrical problem that had stumped a Toyota dealership back in Mexico. Very clean shop. Highly recommended. Best experience I've had with a mechanic since my own back home.Report Check-In
Highly, highly recommended for overlanders! Extremely helpful, fair, genuine and gives a good price. It's really helpful he speaks perfect English, Spanish and German! So we had an issue he couldn't fix and he found another great spanish speaking mechanic and translated everything we needed for us. Which is really helpful.Report Check-In
Excellent service from Gunther and his staff. They fitted our Isuzu in for a service within 24 hrs of us arriving in Antigua. We were carrying spare filters etc, but didn't need to use them. Without asking he had the brakes checked. Great service! He's busy, so if you can book ahead is great if possible.Report Check-In
Good mechanic. Gunther speaks great English and knew to get Japanese parts for our landcruiser. We had him do a good once-over and re-tighten everything that could be tightened from the wear and tear of these Guatemalan roads. Got rid of some mysterious clanking noises by replacing a few bushings, etc. Price is right. Also has a heavy-duty lift for very heavy vehicles.Report Check-In
Our fridge had no electricity. They solved the problem in a bit more then one hour and we payed 80q. As mentioned before Gunter is very nice and speaks excellent english. We recommend it!Report Check-In
