Just off the road through an open gate and fencing you can cross the river (was less than a foot deep on this date) and camp on the other side of the flat old wooden bridge - though wouldn't recommend crossing the old bridge unless you're feeling lucky. Plenty of wood around to make a fire and we left a rock fire ring and sitting log in place. Some traffic noise across the way but minimal into the eve and with the river sounding. Gorgeous little spot to recharge!

Report Check-InPerfect place to stop and have picnic after a few hours of driving. Did not sleep there but we would.
Report Check-InPerfect for cyclists ! You can cross the bridge easily on a bike and probably a small car. Very quiet. 2 spots to pitch tents: near fire ring and in small road on the left. Not very sheltered from the wind but it stopped in the night.
