Nice campground next to a 9-hole golf course. Dump and water available in park. Pay-showers, takes quarters. Free restrooms. All very clean. Campground hosts are on site and do a good job. Hiking, biking, and horse trails and two lakes, one allows swimming and has a nice visitors area. They are adding gazebos as of 8/2020. Piñon Campground open year-round. Internet at visitor center
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
They say it’s $36 but with taxes and surcharges it’s comes close to $60. For that price the camp you get is over priced by $50. Showers are of nickel and dime category: 50cents for 4 minutes. Don’t come here. It’s totally not worth it. And they have the temerity of asking you to keep you visit to the toilet to 10 Mm max!!! What clowns!!!
Report Check-Inreally gorgeous views, you do want a high clearance vehicle, we did it in a rav4 fine, no real clear camping areas and the grass is FULL of thorns, our dogs paws were bloody from them and they were sticking in our tires.
Report Check-InStayed in the Yucca Campground. Sites have tables and fire pits. Water refill is easily acceptable. Most sites are pretty level. Wind can be a problem. 2 bars for cell service. Reservations can be made on the RA Camping app.
Report Check-Inwe stayed three nights at Lathrop State Park. it's a really beautiful area. we stayed in the basic campsite with no amenities but there were pit toilets and water. our site was close to the highway but it didn't bother us. The campsites are relatively secluded from each other. we were there one day over the weekend with all sites full and then everyone left and we were basically alone.
Report Check-InGreat state park. Very pretty and there were only 2 other campers while we were there. Flush toilets were very clean. Would definitely it let come back.
Report Check-InCheck site for current prices. Stayed here at pinion loop C with reservation. Very quiet, clean, decent views, decent cell service. Be sure to get a site with some shade. I was lucky enough to have a little grove perfect for a chair and hammock. RV sites are quite large and camping pad sites are the best I've seen. Must park on pavement. Would come back.
Report Check-InTried to stay, but by reservation only, either on line or in person. The rates are considerably higher than in 2016, $36 for a non-electrical site. The non-electric sites are a fair way from the powered sites. It does look nice and was t dull, but no reservation😳.
Report Check-InNice campground next to a 9 hole golf course. $24 w/electric or $18 without plus park pass if no annual permit ($7). Dump and water available in park. Pay-showers ($1.50/10min). Trails and two lakes. Piñon Campground open year round. Internet at visitor center
