Howler monkeys singing to us at dawn and dusk, and sharing the fig tree shelter with us. Sandy spot recently used for quarrying, easy access on a track on the left side of the road (when driving north) before the bridge. Road pretty noisy all night. Track might be muddy in the wet season.

Nice quiet place to spend the night. there was a bit of mud to cross to.get there, we got a bit stuck and managed to get out after a few tries. the next day we put branches and crossed with no issues.
some fishermen came at night for a bit to fish.
we felt safe. it was quiet.
unfortunately no monkeys nor toucans came to visit us.
river not recommended for bathing.
Stayed 1 night. Flat on soil, shaded between trees. Quiet at night, little distant traffic. Saw a tucan and heard the howler monkeys in the morning. Many mosquitos and other stingily flies, but a very nice spot. 3G with Entel but barely working
Report Check-Inwe spend one safe and quiet night here. you can here traffic but it's not much. clear water in the river, few mosquitoes. no cellphone reception with Tigo, very poor to nothing with entel. we saw tukans, parakeets and monkeys. adding photos.
Report Check-InWe tried to reach this Spot with our Truck but the track was totally muddy, so we stayed 50m before the pin. After 20 seconds our Truck was full of unfriendly Moskitos so we left 😳
Report Check-InNice and clean spot for a night. Before the bridge "Puente Limones" when you arrive to San Ramon (on the left side). There are monkeys and aras !
Un spot simpa et propre pour une nuit. L'accès est avant le pont "Puente Limones" sur la gauche quand vous venez de San Ramon.
Il y a quelques singes et aras.
Quite nice spot for the night. Plenty of wood for fire and cooking. A small river to filter water. Big trees and open area for tent. Really nice spot! The sound is not that bad. If you camp at the end you can barely see the road. Many different ants, mice, monkeys, birds. weird spiders. Water was clear enough to filter it. Would camp again. Rainny season may be different though.
Report Check-InWonderful place. Saw and heared the monkeys. A bit loud because of traffic during nighttime, but slept well and safe. Thanks for sharing!
Report Check-Inbeautiful spot next to river. can be partially seen by the road, but no bother. monkeys were curious but kept a distance. road noise was late into the night.
