Free. Parillas, tables and benches. Sinks. Showers with warm or hot water only during evening/night. Very basic but clean.
Noisy from the nearby road. Was the alternative because the other campground was closed.

Place seems to be closed (at least for vehicles) or we couldn’t find the right entrance. After crossing the bridge there was only a small entrance to the right with a sign “no vehiculos”.
Report Check-InThere is only a picnic area now and vehicles are not allowed to enter. There is a sign Camping prohibited. The picnic area looks new.
Report Check-InPublic place along a river. We left with the Land Cruiser (to eat in town) and returned to sleep. Ready for an early night, six low-riding cars with powerful stereos pull in and they start a party (until 2:00 am). They must have missed the sign saying "no noise after 22:00 hrs". Not that it mattered, because the barrio across the river really came to life after midnight, also with loud music lasting to 4:30.
The bathroom was too filthy to use, the shower did not drain and had a pool (we did not even get in).
Even at the price (free) not a great place (on a Friday night?)

Good place to stay for a night or two..clean and friendly. .only room for a few cars..But quiet and no loud music at night...:-)
Report Check-InThis is the place to go in Mercedes. We spent a very good night there. The road is not that loud as the cars drive slowly while crossing the bridge. There are parrillas and the place was very clean. There are also toilets and showers. The guard lives right hereby in the small house and is very helpful. He has small kids too who played with ours. The best is that the place is indeed free.
