Description

Beautiful gated and secure resort between La Palma and San Ignacio with 100 acres of land that they allowed us to camp on! $8 per person with access to the bathrooms (which are nearby the camping area), the shower (a little further from the camping area), and wifi. We didn't find anything we were too excited about in La Palma so we decided to try here and are so glad we did. Super tranquilo. Lots of shade, you camp right next to a pond, and they might even let you use the *pool!*

Latest Check-Ins

This place is not accepting campers. There was no explanation, just a NO.

Report Check-In

We pulled in and asked about camping/parking for the night. After some chatting and delay inside, the man returned and said NO. No reason given. Just NO. Not sure if this is a temporary change or permanent. Next user may find out more, but don’t rely on this being available. There are other hotels, gas stations and street areas to park in San Ignacio area.

Great place. Stood 2 nights. Can recommend the Spagetti at the restaurant. If you're in a big / high rig go to the right when you've reached the pedestrian gate of the pool area. We're 12 feet / 3,70 m high which is the absolute maximum due to the branches.

Great spot to spend a day and night before / after crossing Honduras border. We camped in the pool area and had the place to ourselves. Big pool with bar by day, Toilets, showers(make sure they turn the water on), electrical hook up. No wifi by the pool. We paid the $20 and didn't try to get a better deal.

A Resort with their own wilderness. We could stay where we want and there are so many places to be out in the wood. It’s like doing wild camping… We preferred to stay in the fenced pool area near to cool water and restrooms. Infrastructure is old but ok. Showers are cold. We payed 20$ for 2 people. No chance to discuss the price.

Faaaaaaaaantastic! It's part swanky hotel, park well groomed campground, part petting Zoo!
Pool, restaurant, Wi-Fi in the lobby where the bunnies roam around.
Asked for $10/night, when I asked what so expensive? She said are you paying by card and do you need a receipt?? I said no, she said $7!
Later when my English speaking brain couldn't understand the directions to the showers they called a driver to pick me up, drove me the 3mins to the showers then when I got out these two guys were waiting to drive me the 2mins back to my site. Hahaha Amazing!
Stay here for sure.

Like most we opted for here because of the proximity to the border.
But we wish we had had more time. The property is huge - massive - and one could 'wild camp' in here for many days and probably see very few people.
BUT if you need bathrooms then there are only the ones at the hotel and at the pool complex a little way off from the Hotel.
We were allowed to pull inside the pool area - between the bar and the toilets/showers.
the whole experience would have been a good place to camp, walk and rest if we had had time.
The price is a bit on the high side but the facilities were quite extensive (100's acres of grounds to explore, swimming pool, good restaurant to eat in etc etc)

Report Check-In

We were able to negotiate $16 for the two of us. Lomito at onsite restaurant was phenomenal ($12), breakfast was affordable ($4-5 including coffee) but disappointing. We saw many signs for 'campamentos' nearby but didn't check any of them out.

ok, is a very good place to overnight

Report Check-In

Came here on a Saturday afternoon as we did not want to attempt border late in the day. Wanted to charge us $10US pp but when we asked if she could ask her boss about us paying $15 for both of us she came back with $8 pp. it rained on and off rest of day so we didn't use pool. we never managed to get on Wi-Fi at reception either. pretty place though. quiet and safe.

Report Check-In

We stud one night, because it was close to the border.pay 10usd pp, we think that was to much for waht it was.wifi just in lobby, could use the pool and outdoor shower close to the pool, close at 5am, we could chose were to park, it was very quiet.
