big gravel lot few minutes off 101. No signage, quiet, looks like recent homeless clean up. No one else here, far enough of the street to stay quiet all night, trucks started on the road about 8am.

Report Check-In

We didn’t stay at the grave pit mentioned- it looks pretty rough when you get there, especially in comparison to the short road in the redwoods that leads up to it. So, we turned around and stayed at one of the numerous pullouts directly in the redwood forest. One of the most magical sites we’ve ever experienced. Quiet, a few cars went by until 10ish and then we were undisturbed.

Got there late to be welcomed by a « No trespassing » sign. We did not stay and would not recommend under overlanders’ code of ethics.

Good level spot with excellent Verizon 4G. Very quiet. Lots of sun. Minor views of the river. I stayed here for the night to figure out my plans for the next few days. I was able to relax.

Report Check-In

Quiet, decent spot for the night. Didn’t hear anything but the sound of rain which was nice. Not the prettiest view but definitely was on the road in. Bathrooms near the beginning of the turnoff road to the left which are open in off season right now.

As described, great spot right in the forest, pretty close to these awesome old Redwoods, we had a plenty calm night

Report Check-In

Good spot just to sleep. No noise in the night and very close to the park. Good option when the campgrounds are close for season.😅

Report Check-In

Good over night spot. Very quiet. Cool drive in passing by huge redwoods

Report Check-In

Good overnight spot. Very quiet, almost no traffic on the street next to it.

Report Check-In

Oke spot. Nothing special but close to the forest. Thanks for sharing.

Report Check-In

It's a gravel pit off of Ave of Giants, not much to look at but free and close to the rest of Humboldt Redwood state park
