Description

To find the airport entrance, when you come from Nasca city, you have to turn left just before the airport walls.
Then you will see the Museo Inca Masi, and continue and follow the road to the right.

There is a fee for entrance/parking (5 sol per hour).

Tickets for Nazca Lines are cheapest directly in the airport (standart 30min with Travelair is 70$US. There is a lot of others options, some reduce if you are 5 or 6 etc...)

Latest Check-Ins

After asking around, we were able to get the ‘long flight’ 38 minutes to include 20 figures, Paredones, Cerro Blanco and Acueductos for S/220 (60 USD) with Airbag. A couple of the other operators were dropping the prices to match.
Airport fees are still Sol/77 pp
We certainly couldn’t get these prices online or via WhatsApp. Arrived at the Nazca airport at 8:30 to ask direct.
Not sure if this price is available on high season.

We arrived early, trying to beat the second fly from AeroNasca, and AeroFelix promised availability for the first fly. No bueno. We ended up waiting way longer; we should have waited for AeroNasca. We paid 80 dollars pp for the Nasca-Acueductos + S./30 pp taxes from the airport + taxes from tourism S./40 pp (Corpac).

here are the companys for flights over the nasca lines. just drive into the airport, pay 6s for parking and ask inside the terminal for prices. you have to negotiate the price and after adking at some companys we found one (aeronascar) who did it for 65$ per person for the 40 minute flight with 18+2 figures. the 30 minute flight with 12 figured is 10$ cheaper.

after that you pay 77s per person for taxes (30+47).

toiletes are inside the building for free.

Now 2 price 30 minutes is 60 U$ 40 minutes is 80 U$ and there is a taxe of 30 soles and a new one of 47 soles so 77 soles p/p.

The entrance fee is about 6sol per hour.
We make the flight with AeroNasca and paid 55$ per person, flight about 30min.

To get the best price: Park your vehicle (with foreign plates) in the parking lot (at 5 Soles per hour or fraction thereof) and... wait! There are about 10 different airlines here and the ones who have to fill up a plane will approach you. Now, negotiate hard, just cut their asking price in two and see where you end up.

We paid USD 65 for an extended flight that supposedly costs USD 120 in town.

I guess the flights are mostly the same. You'll travel at 200 km/h, so either know your camera, or just enjoy the sights.

As described below, but a few more things to add. No flights if it’s hazy, foggy or too windy. You must show your passport.
Be prepared to be swarmed by salespeople when you arrive. Check various flight details at each counter and book the package you want. A few more minutes in the air shows a few more things.
You can pay with credit card and include airport tax or pay it separately. They have a system for it. Once you select, let them work it out.
Use the restroom. Dress lightly, it’s hot in the plane. Before take off, test the headset. If it doesn’t work properly, have the copilot help you. Hearing them describe things will help. Also follow along the map/designs. And when they start banking left and right..... well, get the bag ready. I used pressure point bands, and it was still rough. The camera will try to autofocus on the window glass, the wing, etc. Beware of fiddling with camera and missing the memory. The plane passes quickly. Notice not only the figures but also the geometric designs. Go see the display at the Antoni Museum (in iO as Nasca Museum) for a representation of the entire collection of glyphs. Souvenirs are cheaper at airport than in town. Browse while your legs return!

Showing up at the airport guarantees best price.
Flights start at 7am.
Go as early as you can before all the other buses etc arrive, this way you're more likely to be needed to fill a seat on a plane and therefore can bargain a price.

I easily got it for $65 and I think if I'd have pushed more I could have got it for less, maybe as low as $60 but I was happy with $65.

Pay in dollars, the conversion to Soles is bad for the exchange rate and makes the price more expensive.

conditions are still the same.
4s per hour parking
60$ for a flight with 4to6 people
70$ for a private 2person one
as none of the agencies had other people to fill a 4 person plane, we waited at the parking lot and just talked to people arriving. worked out at the end but got some angry looks from agencies
