Description

ADMIN NOTE: Opening this place again - see check-in from the June 9th, 2018. "It's directly next to the Hotel y Cabanas Playa Caribe..."

Beautiful property with nice clean pool. Lounge area, cabins to rent. Electricity if you have a long enough extension. Outside showers. Clean restrooms. 50 meters from the beach. View of the beach from the pool. BBQ place. Security at night. The owner François is really welcoming. Call Abel Saavedra at +50496589808 so he can help you get boat tours to Punta Sal (Janette Kawas) National Park. We loved this place. 300 L per vehicle to camp. $15 USD best deal for what you get in town.

You can stay only at the parking lot just by the entrance to the complex. They said it is not possible to stay closer to the beach, I think there are more cabins now. They asked us 500lempiras/2ppn!! We stayed as it was almost dark. Would be negotiable if you stay more nights. We could use the staff's toilet. There was a cold shower, too but we rather used the swimming pool and outside shower. Really expensive for staying at a parking lot with no privacy and almost no facilities. Beach was full of rubbish but I think that during high season it would be better.

It was a little hard to find because we didn't notice a sign but I walked around until I found someone to let us in the gate, then it was fine. Juan helped us get plugged in because we wanted to run our AC. 300 L for the night. Pool was great, ocean right near too so we swam there too. Not sure how clean the sea is with Tela nearby though. Washing machine available for extra fee. Our friend rented a room in a cabin for a night to get AC for a about $50 US/ night. We enjoyed the tables in the pool area, used the toilet which worked fine but not the shower because it didn't seem to work. Quiet at night. Would stay here again.

A good space to stop after crossing the border at Corinto. There is a covered area with Hammock and some seating etc if it rains. The pool looks great and literally next to the beach. 300lps

Report Check-In

Nice place with friendly staff. Beautiful pool with bar and restaurant. Food was okay. Resort does have beach access unlike what someone previously stated. When we were there, it rained pretty heavily and the power went out several times so we just cuddled up inside our van all day drinking hot chocolate we still had from Mexico... 😀

We stayed here for a few days after new years, the pool had just been drained for maintenance and the shower was meh...😑 Shade and power, walking distance to the beach...

Awesome stay. We loved the grounds and enjoyed swimming in the warm pool. Shower is cold water only and no shower head. Toilet is clean. $20 per night for two people and our van. Not the cheapest, but we would stay again.

Surprisingly, no access to the beach from the property.

As described, we there have past two nights with one 24 feet, place very nice. 300 lempiras by night.

Great place. We stayed in our small rig. Lots of room. Great to hang out at the beach or by the pool. Owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Stayed one night on the way out of town. Needed to get away from the beach spot with horrible music all night. Nice and quiet. Wasn't sure I would fit with my 11' height but no problem. The palm branches are all soft so no height restrictions. Due to size of rig, we were parked in full sun. Wasn't too bad but we didn't get any of the breeze due to the angle. Great pool and atmosphere and dog friendly. Pick up after your pooch. The shower got lots of use because of the heat. Very pretty place, all the staff very friendly and helpful. Still $300l/ night. Google maps tried to send me down to the beach. They are right next to Hotel Y Cabanas Playa Caribe. I parked here in a 25' Class C, I disconnected the car to park. No problems pulling in and out to park.

Stayed here two nights. Super nice place. A lot of shade. Right next to the beach. Has a nice clean pool and small bar. Bathroom was ok, outdoor showers. Owner helped us order food. Good WiFi. Felt safe.

Turned up at 4pm on a Tuesday afternoon... loads of space to park up but the guy in the 'green house' said no camping, later that they were full when trying to establish if this place is actually open or not to campers. Unsure of their policy as it seemed they'd be plenty of room to park/camp. I think you should check the place out but don't rely on it as an option.

Didn't discuss price obviously but it's a really nice place, slightly over priced at $15 if that's the case but we wanted to get a load of laundry done so that's why it would've been a viable stay.

This place does exist and is open, it was hard to find as there is no sign on the road and we couldn't locate it on Google. It's directly next to the Hotel y Cabanas Playa Caribe... unfortunately we couldn't stay for the night as they were at max capacity. Normally they do allow camping we just struck out for a Saturday night. Didn't ask for prices either.... seemed like a chill spot right on the water.

Beautiful grounds and pool. No direct beach access, but just short sandy walk along alley of property to a large sandy beach. Great wifi and washing machine included! We were so relaxed here!

1 Toilet situation isn't ideal when other rigs are present but super nice place for 300 lp.

We stayed here 3 days. The place is beautiful, the pool is very nice and clean. Francois, the owner, is very nice and helpful. 300L per night for an RV, 2 adults and 2 kids. Water and electricity included.

Very nice spot close to the ocean. we payed 15 Dollars for one vehicle. nice Pool, security guard and very friendly owner. we could even do our laundry. WiFi is working good.

Really nice place. Very safe and quiet, wifi is great, but can't say the same about the bathroom. Also cold outdoor poolside shower. Pedro is a young man ( ground keeper, I think) was really sweet, he would bring us fresh coconut every time we would comeback from our day trip. The pool looks good ( we haven't used it). Really friendly staff. Highly recommend it.
