Latest Check-Ins

good spot for 1 vehicle, no turn around, fallen tree cleared. Directly below the road but traffic noise is bearable

Report Check-In

Road down to the river is currently blocked by a fallen tree.

Very pretty little spot. Perfect views to the Yukon, quiet and hidden from the road that barely has any traffic. Easy to get a small group of campers in. No 4x4 required just a little clearance at the entrance. Great for tents and dogs also.

Cars are passing by until 11pm at least and some youngsters do car races. Wouldn’t recommend.
Road is above you and pretty close

Report Check-In

We parked our 17ft 1987 Dodge camper van here for two nights. Didn’t need a 4x4 and we could back right in. It drops in a bit initially, so be prepared for that! The view is beautiful and you are mostly tucked away. There was some evidence of a campfire, toilet paper and trash around.

Nice small place for one vehicle (20 ft. or less)
Let me firm up the directions:
Coming down the road you’ll come to a Y. Bear to the left.
A few hundred yards further you’ll see a large pull out on your right. The access to the site is on the back left corner of the turn out. I suggest you walk down to verify it will work for your vehicle. We have a full size truck and it took a 6 point turn to turn ourselves around.
Great views of the Yukon River....just be careful...it’s a long way down!

Very quiet spot with gorgeously scenic view of the river! We spend about two weeks here before heading northern Yukon!

small side road just off the road. drive in and reverse out, there is no room to turn around. Some nice views of the river.

Report Check-In

Perfect place to spend the night, there is a little path for 4x4 that runs some 2-3 yards, very quiet. Love this place!

Report Check-In

Also took the spot on the other side of the road. 4x4 and some driving skill necessary. some road noise but not too bad. planes flying directly over your head pretty low, which I thought is cool and whitehorse isn't the busiest airport.
a black bear was very interested in my car and came really close (<10m) so watch out and please keep a clean camp. a fed bear is a dead bear.
nice view over the river

Report Check-In

After Alaska here again uphill. With 4x4 and low gear are still no problem to get there. Great view!
We had 2 Black Bear around the car so thake care.

Report Check-In

We take the place uphill on the oder side the road. great view. but you need 4x4
