Good place to see the parrots. 78 br pP. Enjoyable tour in english.

Well worth to visit! We did not have a reservation, just showed up. Did the first tour at 8.00 the next day and we were only the two of us. (It is best in the early morning as the birds are the most active.) Guide spoke good English and could answer all our questions. You get very close to the birds. Costs 75 p/p (68 for pensioner) free coffee and tea, very good free internet, friendly staff. True it is not cheap but the owner of the farm stopped farming and went into conserving the Araras - he builded a very good infrastructure and helps to safe this beatiful birds - so for us it is worth the money.

it is 75 BRL pp now. Crazy prices but it is nice to see - overpriced as pretty much any other touristic attraction in Brazil (or SA in general tho). We were "forced" to go with a guide. At least they said we are not allowed to do it on our own. Ridiculous but well, what can you do...

This place is awesome, especially if you like birds and even if you've already seen a lot before...
Did the private guided photographer bird tour for B$ 170.- pp starting 7.30 am, 4 hours, and saw so many red-and-green macaws, a amazonian motmot and also amardillos... Worth visiting!

Report Check-In

Beautiful, very informative and great guide/biologist (Moroni). Well worth it even if you have seen the araras before if you are interested in the facts and we also got great advise for visiting other sites around the area. It is now 65 reales pp. Opens at 7 am. We were there at 7.30 am and had a guide and the buraco just for us and the beautiful araras!

Très bel endroit. Visite très agréable. Le show des perroquets au dessus du trou est superbe.

South America largest sinkhole full of Araras. Expensive guide is compulsary. but nice walk. easy round trip from Bonito.

bonito lugar aunque no se ven tantas aves como muestra la publicidad. la vista hermosa.

Report Check-In

To visit this place you need to drive 120 km (go/back) and pay 65 BRL per person. It is worthy to go in case that you couldn't see any parrots during your trip in Pantanal. For us it was not a good deal because aras in fazendas and pousadas were more present and closer than in Buraco, and for free. Other wise we appreciated to see the big hole (buraco) the second biggest hole in ground after mecican one.

Report Check-In

Fantastic. We had a very good bilingual (Portuguese and English) tour, very informative and the tour lasted one hour. Amazing sink hole and plenty of macaws, parakeets and toucans to see. Easy trail of under 1km, also very good, clean facilities.

Report Check-In

Great place, professional and well organised. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly guides. We got there around 10:30 which the guide explained was a bit too late because the birds tend to fly-off to look for food at that time. In the June-October nesting season, the best time to go is apparently around 08:00 hrs when the birds are very active around the sink-hole. Cost R58 per person for about an hour.
