Description

Wild camp at the parking lot of the ski resort. We were told to move in the morning. Maybe ask the guard if there is some where better to park in the area.

Messaged Williams(see other post) a few days prior to make sure it was ok. He was very responsive and fine with us staying the night. We arrived at sunset and took some great photos. The hotel was open and I asked the woman(Elena) if Williams was around. He was due to work later that night but she was very friendly and told us it was ok to spend the night in the parking lot and feel free to use the bathrooms. We had breakfast in the hotel that next morning before heading across the border. We had great coverage with Claro(4G)

We stopped at the hotel's parking lot in the late afternoon, and as soon as it got dark a man knocked on our window, informing us that the owner of the hotel does not allow motorhomes to be parked in the parking lot, he apologized but he was following orders. He showed us where we could park, which is at the entrance to the parking lot, there is a shed between us and the road, we are not on the side of the road, a quiet and safe place,
(I put the photo) for those who don't know, it looks like it's the hotel's parking lot, there's not much difference.
The man who helped us is a hotel employee, he organizes the parking, he got a power point and water (there was no faucet to hook up the hose he brought about 6 buckets of water), his name is Williams his whatzapp is +56 9 3264 9771
We spent 2 nights here and skied one day, the ski part is well organized and the people who work there are very helpful.

Hotel restaurant is open but not hotel accommodation. They offered cabins at $150USD per night for 2. The restaurant manager was a bit take it or leave it. We’ve been paying
20,000-30,000 peso clp. As you see in other feedback an area is available for a tent with a bit of asking and the hotel bano is available and no charge. We are head to Argentina so massive hill on our heavily loaded touring bikes.
