Great spot for the night. Tons of space. We were the only camper on a Wednesday evening. 15 to 20 minute walk to restaurant in evening and bakery in morning. Felt safe. Area is apparently under surveillance.

The last comment is not correct. The VR poster is still there. It is always allowed to stay there for 24 hours. Thanks to the city of Rimouski.

L’affichage a été modifié, il n’est pas question de RV ni de 48 heures. Je passerai la nuit ici en espérant que l’interdiction de 23 - 6 am ne soit en vigueur que lors de déneigement.

Grand parking, tranquille pour passer une nuit. Proximité des magasins pour faire le plein avant le tour de la Gaspésie

Perfect for staying the night. We went there while there was a kind of festival in Rimouski so when me arrived at 18h30 the parking was quite full but when we woke up the next morning there was only us and 3 RV. A lot of noice from the streets and people coming to get their cars but it was probably because of the festival. Maximum 24h but we only stayed one night so it was not a problem for us

Lots of people due to faire going on and a concert, but it does explicitly say you can park overnight and there were a dozen or so other RVs and campers. Large open lot, was loud because of the concert, but felt totally secure. Also a 15 minute walk to lots of restaurants/cafes/etc.

As described. The city specifically allows overnight parking here, there is a sign explaining so as well as some general rules about being respectful. Just us and one RV for the night, quiet and uneventful.
