Recreational parc near a lake of cristal water, good place for a night, local people absolutely nice.

Gravel parking lot with sand beach, picnic tables, and portable toilet. Very curious neighbors love to chat. One neighbor filled my water tank and gave me a chunk of fresh banana bread!
This is the parking lot for the park. The portable toilets are in the park. Looks like they might do some construction in the park because there are fresh utility located on the grass. Should not interfere with campers.
There is some construction going on beyond the gravel lots. Expect some through trucks and noise in the day.
Caution: don't leave shoes outside at night. Something swiped one of mine and chewed up the other. This happened to me before 1000 miles from here. That time a ranger confirmed it was a problem fox that had been stealing shoes for a couple years. Darn critters!
Report Check-InCamped in the car park opposite the park. Walked the 5km trail around the lake, if walking clockwise first couple of kms, are on flat gravel trail, the rest on forest dirt trail with boardwalks. Nice jolt. Stayed the one, no bothered us, had a couple of bars cell service.
Report Check-InThe nice park is now closed for véhicule. Only a large gravel parking. Lot of circulation the day we were there we didn’t stay for the night. May be some festivities in preparation?
