We were headed from El Ceibo to Flores - the police just waved us through and did not stop us.

There were several police men and women in the hut beside the road, but no one paid any attention as to whom was passing through.
Report Check-InJust a few army guys hanging out in the shade. I pulled over to pump up my tires and they just watched. One guy asked me where I was from, but just to make conversation.

Report Check-InThere is a police check point with signes, orange cones, booths on both sides of the road, but looked like they were checking only big trucks. Nobody paid attention to us.

However, on the way from here to Coban two people tried to stop us twice in different places for a ‘donation’ in the route. We did not stop.
