Wanted to visit but 110.000 per person is too much for us.

We agree with the previous comment. It's not worth it. Is super expensive and is nothing special. If you remove all the crosses they placed everywhere, it's more like a big underground mall rather than a cathedral. We would strongly suggest you to do the Mina de Nemocon instead. It's half the price and very impressive. We did both and we loved the other one. If we could go back it time, we would just skip this one.

It is very rare that I put negative comments but here frankly there are 4 of us and none of us liked it. We expected something grandiose and we didn't have that: a lot of rooms but the rooms are not so big. Not many sculptures except crosses, few explanations, guides who scream in speakers which takes much away from the spiritual dimension of the place and finally museums of very poor qualities (not maintained and not at all interactive). For me, it is simply a magna of the salt industry who diverts attention from the harmful environmental and human consequences of its exploitation by a mass tourism project by giving Columbians a sense of pride. That's only my opinion but now I'm saying no! All for a very significant price of course.

Price is now 98,000 pp for non-colombians. And you can bring your dog of you rent a stroller for them for 10,000.

Visitamos la catedral de sal y aunque el precio es caro, creemos que es algo que no se encuentra en ningun lugar.
Recomendable ver un film de unos 15 minutos y donde se explica la historia de ese lugar.
Pagamos 66.500 cop personas mayores de edad y gratis los decapacitados

Super nice place ! very impressive 155 000 for 2, same price for all adults and child or old people got reduction.
We had for our money, like path of Cruz and video and also a museum with an other video.

We spend 3h with taking our time with the audio guide (French, English, Spanish and german). Toursitic yes but with plenty of things to buy, eat etc...the same as us or Europe.

Very impressive! We recommend this place. We bought the basic paket and paid COP 77'500 p.P. The audio guide is also in german available. Secured parking for the whole day costs 8'000 COP.

Price is now 60,500COP for foreigners. I’d advise to arrive early as it gets very busy during midday(this is holiday period however). We enjoyed it, found it quite a unique and impressive experience

We paid $7,000 COP for parking and $57,000 COP per person to enter. We spent about 2-2.5 hours there. Yes, it was pricey, but to us, it was worth it. The audio-guide gives good information, sets the tone for your tour, and it was really beautiful. We've not done anything like it in our 7 months of travel. Each person will have their own opinion and preferences; for us, it was a nice stop before heading to Bogota.

57.000cop pp included audioguide with different languages and a 15 min 3d film. no reduction for seniors if you are a foreigner. we have been to nemocón aswell. you can’t compare as they are different. it took us about 2hours.

Really not worth it.... salt galleries with many crosses ....and neon lights all over . You skip, you will miss nothing, just make savings ...

now it costs 57 000 cop by adult and 47000 by child more than 4 years, less they don't pay. (they don't ask any documents). included an audioguide and at the end a 3D film about the mine story. not included the museum.
personally it's a bit expensive but nice.

We were not impressed. They put up crosses and lights in the back of dark excavated mine tunnels and called it an architectural wonder, I don’t think so. Super expensive (55,000 per person) for what it is, we would have skipped it if we had known what it really was.

Exactly as the other people say. To me this is more an architectural and engineering kind of cave, than a church. it is quite expensive but, (just putting it out there) you can ask somebody local to buy you a ticket and you ll get the special discount price which is 30000. Which I think it s a fairer price. Also, you can park in front of the arqueological museum, right before the entrance, for free instead of paying 5000.

Opens at 9 (queue started forming 5 min before, on a Saturday). First English tour at 10, then every hour.
We took the first Spanish tour (9.15) and the group was relatively small (20 pers.) and the guide spoke very clear Spanish. The groups starting after 11 where already quite big.

From the outside this is almost a bit Disney-like. But the actual mine with the viacrucis and the cathedral is just impressive and wonderful. We had a fabulous guide (in Spanish), everything is extremely well organized, beautifully lit and comprehensively labeled. The tour lasted 1.5 hours. The film (included in the standard ticket) was kitschy but still worthwhile.
We felt the COP 50'000 pp was justified. We did complain about the blatant foreigner-discrimination, though — Colombians pay half.

We initially wanted to visit but it is really expensive for foreigners (50.000 p pp + 5000 to park) so we decided to leave.
