We found this place in the dark... Not really sexy but do the job.
The 2nd evening, policemen came and said ok to stay here one or two nights...

as mentioned in the other comments on the place marked next to this. it is a gravel road just off the road 40. parking in the side. quiet, safe, great view. we spent 3 night with no problem. it is next to the dry river (arroyo)
Report Check-InActually we stayed in the same road but on the other side of Ruta 40, close to the municipal camping - just forgot to mark the place. Quiet, some shade, cell service ok, no other amenities. Another motorhome came during the night. No police.
Report Check-InNext to the dry river bed, coming from the village, turn right before the bridge. You can drive down a bit and find a levelled spot. Not very secluded but very quiet at night.
Report Check-Inok place, quiet at night. cops came by and flashed their lights a bit but then just drove on
