Slept in my car here overnight. About 5 minutes after I arrived another car pulled up and realized they were going fishing. Once they went down to the river I got situated had no issues all night. Yes, smells pretty bad outside but didn’t affect my sleep. My only issue was waking up at 6am needing the bathroom. Just went to the planet fitness in Cayce.

Quiet place to sleep for the night. We parked our van here and had no problems. Didn’t see anyone else the entire time we were here. The odor is pretty strong coming from the Waste Water plant next door, but we just kept the fan off in our van and dealt with it. It didn’t smell as bad in the morning.

Great spot to car camp. We stayed one night in the the corner of the parking lot, setting up chairs and a tarp outside the car. There were a few fishermen coming and going through the night, but no one bothered us and it felt very safe!

This place is just as awesome as everyone makes sound. I had I had a great night. Nobody bothered me. I saw police in the morning and everybody was cool. If you park all the way to the corner furthest away from the boat dock will have shade all day.

Stayed 2 nights here. The park ranger I talked to he didn’t see a problem. They also have a police camera and for safety. The police patrol the area. Nice in quite

Stayed in the corner of the lot. Was a few people fishing but had no problems. Police have cameras at the opposite end of the lot. Makes it a safe place. Stayed one night.

Location is exactly as described. Very large parking lot with a boat ramp and a public park. There is also a dumpster on site. Several miles of walking and bicycling trails surround this area.

We had a peaceful night with no activity at the boat launch or in the parking lot. There was a sheriff here first thing this morning speaking with someone else but nobody approached us or questioned us being here overnight.

I am simply trying to update this location it is next to the Congaree national Park River entrance it’s a large lot 200 yards x 200 yards it does have a boat ramp it does have a bicycle walking cement trail lid at night very safe no pit toilets garbage can we were not disturbed we stayed in the corner
