Awesome place to camp. There are few creeks and a spring. You can fish, swim enjoy. Lots of intimate and flat spaces to park. We met someone that lives there full time during summer. Not cell signal.
Report Check-InAwesome camp spot, have stayed a few times. The spaces do fill up toward sunset, but if you get there mid-day I've always founds a good place!
Report Check-InGorgeous, right at the river. Easy pull off and plenty of space. we were by ourselves and parked our 25ft class C left before the bridge along the river. 1hr from Aspen, 35ft or longer not allowed on independence pass.
Report Check-InCompletely free, tons of space & camping spots. Perfect for big groups too. No facilities, so please BURY your body waste & pack out your trash. 360° Mountain views with a beautiful river, trees for shade, & designated campfire spots. About an hour outside of Aspen.
Report Check-InNo spot here is level but being next to the river is incredible. Definitely worth a stop.
Report Check-InStunningly beautiful place to camp. The entries to a gravel road are between mile markers 68 and 69 on the highway to Independence Pass. Several places to camp along the river. If you have a high clearance set up, cross the bridge near the gaging station to find a few sites with scenic mountain views near the Graham Gulch trailhead. Don't worry about the noise from traffic, the river will provide white noise.
