The preferred wild camping in this town at least during off-season. IOverlander map doesn’t show access point but google shows the road. Perfect lakeside views. No one around to bother. Bit of sand but multiple good hard packs to camp on.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
As of November 24 this spot was inaccesible due to large mudholes in access road. But plenty other spots available at Playa Chica.
Report Check-InThere is only one way left open to reach this place. Follow Hugolino Lillo almost to the lake and then turn to C. Veinte. We spent one night on the lake shore, but we had to use our 4x4 on the sand. We spent another night on the river shore, right before reaching the lake, where it's even more beautiful, there is a lot of shade and it's accessible without 4x4, but not for big rigs.
Report Check-InWe didn't stay on the sand area but went under the trees,, at the end of the road (blocked by big rock to get to the other parking, at the end of Hugolino Lillo street, this one accessible with big rigs).
Crowdy during the day (hey, it's high season after all) but not as much as Small and Big beaches). Lights at night. Quiet. Not so much people until 14
Nice spot near the river and the lac. Be aware that trees are not so high and you will not pass with something higher than 3m. the night was super calm. Just some people walking with their dog during the day.
Report Check-Inlugar muy amplio varias personas acampando y carreteando toda la noche y gritando se creían indios.
lugar un poco escondido.

Warning : you definitely cannot get there with a big rig. We tried getting to this spot today but were stucked very soon on the road by a tree that did not let the top of our van get through. Be careful with the height of your vehicle before trying to enter this point
Report Check-Inbeautiful! you can almost drive with your car just next to the lake. its a bit sandy, but we managed with our 2wd car. There is one big house with sight on the spot. if you sit with your back to the house than the view is amazing!
