Mexico
Primitive campground near La Bufadora outside Ensenada. Great views of the ocean (you are up on a cliff). 400 pesos or ~USD $40.00. If you go to the end of the road you are on cliff with pit toilets and no water. If you stay in the dirt parking lot up the mountain near the entrance (left after the "store") you get access to running water, toilets and hot shower, as well as Internet 3mbps up/down)
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Closed because of Covid at the moment, as the most of the other places around.
Report Check-In1 nighter here. 150 pesos. Drove down to the cliff spot (not the fishing area). Go right down the steep dirt road instead of going left toward the fishing area, 4wd will be necessary. There’s 2 spots down there. Not level by any means but we made it work. Site was a bit trashed but the view was amazing. Quiet and safe spot for sure.
Report Check-InSpent 2 nights - one down the cliffs (150 peso) one up at the entry gate (200 peso). Clean restrooms, really nice Campground!
Report Check-Inspent here 1 night, nice and quiet.

Report Check-Inprimitiv campground but frindly staff. wifi signal works good but internet is sometime not available.
still 150 peso.
We needed good internet for working and some peace and quiet after San Diego - this was perfect.
Important: make sure you ask Ricardo to restart his modem so you can log in (your devices won't connect otherwise).
Ricardo is a super nice guy. If you need water you can use the taps in the garden, and he'll let you plug in to his house or shop to get electricity at no extra cost.
Toilets and shower (hot) are clean and comfortable.
Give some love to Princesa, his super lovable dog!
The big palapa near the front has a nice view, good internet and a decent seating space - pretty good office for a few days!
La Bufadora is nearby - best to walk there as they charge you for parking literally anywhere.
As previously described. Definitely primitive but cheap. Wifi did not work while we were here. Good enough for one night.
Report Check-InWe paid 150 pesos. Owner Ricardo is very nice. Wifi, market and restrooms. we parked with a 22 feet motorhome.

Report Check-InI was there right after new year's. One sign said 70p while the new one the window said 150p since January 1st. Tough being the first one to pay more than double. Warmish showers, okay wifi, 150 the first night and 100 the 2nd. Ricardo, really nice guy. Walking distance to the blow hole.
Report Check-InEe didn't stay because as it was raining that day we had to engage 4x4 to get up the slope again when we try to find a level place. Very sticky mud when wet.
Report Check-InNice place with good wifi clean showers and toilet and friendly people. After January 17 the price is 150 pesos per night.
Report Check-InNo services to the RV. Restrooms and shower with hot water. Very good WiFi and splendid view over the sea. Sites not levelled but we could manage. Friendly owner. English spoken. 70 pesos/day.

The host very friendly.
70 pesos, great deal!
Open range. Nice view on pacific and bay to Ensenada. Fantastic sunset. We stayed there for 2 nights. Hot showers and flush toilets. All clean! Good WIFI. We payed 70 Pesos per night.
Report Check-InVery beautiful spot. Views are amazing and I wouldn't mind spending a week here relaxing and exploring. The owner lives on site at the entrance and is very nice. Clean flushing toilets and hot shower. Perfect spot!
Report Check-InNice spot before or after crossing the border. Camping to the left of the entry is best, with wifi, water, bathrooms, showers, electricity. There is more camping by the fishing access, but with only pit toilets and not as nice in our opinion. Great sunset!
Report Check-InGreat camp spot, 70 pesos to park camper. Tienda with packaged goods available. Hot showers and wifi. Fishing possible down the cliff side. Windy.
Report Check-InGreat quit place, very simple indeed. We paid, 70 pesos...change us from usa....asta la vista
Report Check-InGreat spot to stay. Paying $4USD per night per car. Ricardo is a great host and while he doesn't speak much english is always trying to make sure that your stay in pleasant. Free hot showers, yes they are super hot. Wifi is decent. He just got a range expander so you can even get it while in your tent. But the fastest speeds are closer to the house. Download speeds average 350 kbps. More than enough for word document transfers for those working and okay enough for those downloading music, TV and movies. Don't think about streaming as it will lag heavy.
there is a steep dirt road that goes to the lower campsites and fishing rocks.
Report Check-In- Wonderful view.
- Nice and friendly stuff.
- Very friendly dogs :-)
- 70 pesos per night per vehicle
- Free wi-fi

Report Check-InGreat place! Nice, clean bathroom and shower! Supersweet owner and dogs! It was still only 70 Pesos per night. Amazing views and little walks to the cliffs to watch whales..
Report Check-InCamping was 70 pesos. Nice hosts and good Internet close to the house.

Report Check-InLike everyone said...we stayed also on the cliffs....
But to say ..... look at Camp no 5....about 0.5 mile direction bufadora....looked als very nice...we decided to stay here at camp no 7...
looking at night to Ensenada....full moon....cool.. 70 pesos.
Stayed at the primitive site with the pit toilet. Had the place to ourselves. The man who runs the place is very friendly and helpful. He sells firewood for a very reasonable price. Wifi ok in parking lot. Awesome first night in Baja. Payed 70 pesos. ($5-6ish)
Report Check-In70 pesos. Clean toilets And hot showers (recently reshaped). Very Nice owner And Nice view with wonderful sunset on thé ocean.
Report Check-InAs we were alone when we arrived, we had the spot at the huge palapa, recently built to host events. so for only 70 pesos,we had electricity (plugged the van to the palapa outlet), hot shower and toilet (like new), very fast WiFi, storage space in the palapa and shade! the guy was very nic
e and dog friendly. amazing sunset every night!! we planned to stay 1-2 days and stayed 5 night!!
We loved this little place so much that we extended our stay for 2 additional nights. The view was lovely, especially for sunset. The guy running the place was so nice and accommodating. The shower is hot and clean. It was only 70 pesos per night. The wifi was really strong. Surprisingly strong, actually.
Report Check-InStayed at lot by the entrance. There isn't much shade, so we asked if we can park beside the area is he building for events. He told us to park in the palapa, which was great. We did a bit if damage to the concrete pad though, so don't know if he will continue to do so. Great WiFi, hot showers so we ended up staying for 5 nights to get some things done online. Friendly owner, really trying to make a nice campground slowly. Birthday party at the event area on last night, other campers moved to the back of the lot.
Report Check-In70 pesos, hot showers, wifi works. Basically a dirt parking lot up by the office with a view of the ocean. Can camp further out, as well.
Report Check-Inrustic camping option on a cliff. There is a dirt lot as soon as you enter that gives you access to toilets and wifi, but it's not scenic and not very level. So you want to drive to the second area for camping. You go down a steep dirt road and then you hit a paved road. You take the paved road out and you will have the option for a spot with a palapa just off the road or if you keep going almost to the end of the road you will see a larger spot with a primitive pit toilet. There is also a dirt road that you could drive down to get lower to the beach, but it's steep and not for the faint of heart.
Report Check-Inplace is called camp #7. There is internet and flush toilets, showers at the building right by the entrance. 5usd per night. Internet can be reached if you camp in gravel lot that's on left from store. Electricity is also available, but if you park close to buildings.
Report Check-InAJKatandDog- it was the perfect first stop of the trip. We payed $5 US because we didn't have anything smaller then drove down a four wheel track to a nice primitive spot on a cliff.
Report Check-InPrimitive campground near La Bufadora outside Ensenada. Great views of the ocean (you are up on a cliff). ~USD $6.00
