Free spot on the lake shore. There are many spots with fire pits. Some for big rigs some for 4wd only. Beutiful view. Near the road but not that noisy. There is more places lake this along the shore of whole lake, but this is #1 for us.

Perfect area to stay. Glad we came out here and saw the lake. water is chilly but refreshing. tiniest bit of reception on the hill.
Report Check-InThis is a lovely free campsite with a few spots to camp at. The entrance down is quite rugged, we did make it down in our minivan but it was a little scary. Big big holes. Did not see any toilets during our stay. Amazing views
Report Check-InPerfection! nice rugged camping spots for my small AWD off-grid RV, perched on a site with a full view of the lake and mountains. Pit toilets are the only service. I have half a bar of cell if I put my phone in the window.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot! Free camping, road was being paved while we were there. Huge rocky beach, surrounded by mountains and icy blue water colour of lake so distinctive to BC. Plenty of spots to choose from with fire pits. Put toilets were clean. Would stay here again in the future!

Report Check-InIt is a big camping area and is very well developed, there are toilet pits and anti-bear trash cans located close to the main road.
Once you drive further into the camping area, closer to the water, the noise from the road dissipates and it gets very calm. Finding a camp spot is also not too hard, there are multiple options by the water and clearings in the forest. Several fire pits are also located in this area.

Amazing spot! And free! We stayed down in the first spot going on your right. Be careful it's full of mosquitos! No need of 4x4. Little bit of Fonus signal.

Beautiful views. Signs prohibited driving down to the lake so we camped just before those signs.
