Latest Check-Ins

Looks like Boulder is blocking access to where cars used to park along beach. No parking along beach anymore. Small lot to park during day with car guard, doubtful of you can stay the night

We stayed on July 2018, 2 kids of 3 yeras old and 2 adults. The camping is in front of the beach. The location is quite nice and have electricity included in the price (around $7 per adult). The toilets need serious improvement and were not clean.
However, the place has a nice set up in front of the beach and the bar closes before 10pm in low season.
Now, security is kind of concern as multiple people walks thru the camping area to go to the Bar Pablitos or to the beach. So, leaving stuff outside the vehicule or while you're in the beach, is not safe.

This is a nice spot by the beach. Lots of wild horses around and picnic tables under the nearby palm trees. It’s a good spot for cooking and relaxing at your camper as the other spots in Samara were on busy streets.

However to get to the main town there is a river crossing if you do it by beach walk so we ended up driving into town if we wanted to spend the day at the beach with all our stuff.

Stayed on the beach with out Unimog camper truck one night. Very quiet. In the morning police came by and said it's not allowed to camp on the beach. In the street it's ok. They were very friendly and even said "Thank you" when we left the beach.

Way nicer than dirty, grumpy Coco's where we stayed the night before! (But, zero facilities here)

Nos quedamos cinco noches, lindo lugar, el mejor de todos los puntos ioverlander para quedarse. Recomendado!

Nice spot, spent two days and nights there on week-ends and it was not too busy.

Safe, relatively quiet and isolated. We camped here in our rooftop tent under the big tree on the right. Other than people passing by to walk the beach it was very quiet.

Report Check-In

While coming down to the beach you'll see other cars parked along the road. They all leave at sunset so no problems getting a nice spot.

If traveling by motorcycle:
Look for the lane of palm trees on your left when you are all the way down there, it's a small little track up to those lighted palm trees. If you continue to where the light stops, you'll have some nice grassy areas to pitch a tent or use a hammock. Felt safe and secure, no one walked by and we woke up with a great view.

From the beach towards the main road: first left into a smaller road, you will find a supermarket and a soda for food. Locals say this is the best cheapest soda in town and the food was good.

A nice spot to spend the night, during the day some people but at night time quiet ( Saturday )
