Large, flat, open spot on bluff overlooking the water. Road in is in good shape and totally fine for 2wd. Smells intensely of sage at night.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Wonderful view with amazing sunsets. Easily accessible without a 4*4 while staying on the hard part even for trucks with very large tonnage
Report Check-Inwe were on the bluffs when a Mexican driving a California plated car ask you for 100 pesos for parking. We played stupid like we didn't understand. We told him that the police where there yesterday and said we were OK to stay. unfortunately the other camper on the beach paid.
Report Check-InWe could’ve been on the beach slightly north of us but there were screaming lil kids running around and too many people crammed together. We thought we’d check this spot out and I’m so glad we did! Had it all to ourselves and it was so quiet. Views only- no beach access from here- we didn’t walk down there but I’m sure you can walk to the beach from here. Road looks sandy but was passable in Promaster. Spots are pretty packed
Report Check-InGood overnight spot. Plenty of room for multiple rigs, although there was only one other. There’s parking on top of the hill or down below near the beach (but deeper sand). Google have perfect directions.
Report Check-Inoh wow! What a lovely place! Very quiet for the most part. A little bit of ATV traffic, but we stayed 6 days and only heard them a handful of times. The road continues down to the beach and some houses, so there's a little traffic for that, but it was quiet and rare.
Enjoyed lovely sunsets/rises and stargazing. Would definitely stay again!
The road in is somewhat sandy but just keep moving and you'll get there...I'm a tentative driver in a 30 foot motorhome and we made it with no problems.
Report Check-InFantastic spot on the bluff. 2 other campers, but plenty of room. Short walk to the beach.
Report Check-InStayed here for 6 nights after crossing to border to take some time to regroup before continuing heading south. Beautiful place with amazing Sunsets (I missed the sunrises). Only a 10 minute walk to the beach when it’s high tide. Some cars driving the nearby road occasionally which gave waves. But asides from that, was pretty private and solitary. In my 30 foot school bus - super easy to get to.
Report Check-Inreally cool spot, plenty of space to turn around if you have a trailer. I got a camper van and 18 foot trailer and it was easy. Quiet and peaceful
Report Check-InSpent several nights here - one trailer, one van and two dogs - and we LOVE it. So quiet and peaceful. View of the ocean but away from the beach campers and the highway. Super level, too. No problem for 2WD. Enjoy!
Report Check-InGreat quick access for a night stop, 2wd safe to bluff. Didn't check down to beach. 2 cars passed in the afternoon, quiet spot away from highway, light traffic noise.
