Malawi
MK3000 per person for chalets. Close to lake / nature reserve for day visitors. Chalets are clean and basic but nice community initiative in start up phase. Borehole pump broken when we visited but managers were keen to make a plan. Cheaper alternative to camping in reserve where they want to charge $10 per person and $3 per vehicle just to enter park per day Excluding the $10 pp camping fee.

This is in the wrong location, it’s a fair way further up the road. 3,500pp for a chalet. No running water or electricity, they give you a big bucket of water to use. Beds are comfortable and the people here are lovely
