Very nice spot, a few cars came in during the night but we were the only ones who stayed. Would recommend.
Report Check-InGreat place for small RV !! Recommend. !! You can setup camp as well
Report Check-InAs describe. Just perfect. I would have stay longer! It says « car only » at the entrance, but it is just fine. We manage to park our pickup truck and our 21’ camper.
Report Check-InSuch a beautiful view, very quiet place to spend the night. I was the only overnighter. The pit toilets were very clean and had sanitizer.
Report Check-InStayed one night . It was nice and quiet. There was one other camper van there. Garbage's on-site and bathrooms ( not sure how they are , we ve our own) it's just a little passed where the GPS said it was if you're heading towards east. The view was beautiful, and there's fences around if you have littles or dogs ! Recommend. Only downfall no fire pits, but you can't have it all!
Report Check-InThe gate was closed on 2023-05-05. Not sure if it is still accessible.
Report Check-Inquiet and nice view.Picknick table.Just off hwy17 but no noise from the hwy.
Report Check-InAs described. Quiet for sleeping and conveniently off hwy17. Some strange bugs.
Report Check-InNice hide out from the highway, paved, 4 pit toilets, few picnic tables, 2 cars over night plus us. You can hear a bit noise from the highway, but it's not bad at all.
Beautiful view on lake in the morning!
parking for 3 vehicles by picnic area, beautiful view. washrooms ok
Report Check-Inwonderful place for goodnight sleep, clean washrooms , although we did clean up some else's picnic garbage.
Report Check-InFound the place even at mid night no problem. Very peaceful to sleep the night in my car.
Report Check-InStayed the night here. It was quiet and off the highway. Only heard the train once in the night. Toilets seem to be cleaned regularly.
The rest stop is called Kama Bay Lookout on Google Maps.
Nice rest stop/lookout place a bit away from the highway. Not much noise at night except for an occasional train passing below. 4 pit toilet booths and 3 picnic tables. No mosquitos at the time, but very thick fog in the morning.
Report Check-InThe perfect spot some distance away from road for a quiet night. Clean, wind protected and vault toilets with paper, hand sanitizer and light. The view is getting closed in by tall trees but still besutiful - and not one moskito!
Report Check-InGreat spot, we arrived quite early(around 7pm) so there were still alot of people coming and going but by 8:30pm it all died down and was quiet for the rest of the night up until 10am when we left.
Still enough for 3 normal sized cars to vans, and also a great piece of flat land behind one of the picnic tables that is perfect to pitch a tent.
Recommend. There's restrooms, garbagebins and picnictables. Not too much mosquitoes this time of the year.
