Great stop. Would have stayed longer. Self catering chalets for 400pppn. Kitchen in each unit and braai. Fridge too. The views at sunset are spectacular. Owners are super friendly. Had a pet meetkat when I stopped by. Rooms are clean and beds are comfy. There are no TV's here, but you hardly need it. Recommended highly for a stop on route.
A very nice place and very friendly owner. They gave us the key for a chalet, so we can park at the chalet and can use the bathroom, the kitchen and the power. All is new and clean! You will have a wonderful view. Have a look to the comments to Sunset Chalet (Hotel). The owner wanted to have 100pppn + 100 per car. We negotiated and paid 250NAD per two persons plus car per night. We recommend!!

180 pppn.. chalet is open as no camping facility so could use toilet/shower and kitchen.. it was cold windy summer night so was very welcoming.. kitchen has cooking facilities including microwave kettle etc, bench fridge so handy place.. shower clean and hot water. Good for a quick stop over.
Report Check-InBooked into one of the chalets last night after crossing the border. The Chalets are big and clean, they're like a pre-fab style. It cost us R550 for 2 adults. In our chalet is plenty of space, 2 bedrooms and 3 single beds in each. No Wifi and no TVs. Very good place to book if you've crossed the border and don't want to drive too far, roughly 100km from Ariamsvlei.
Report Check-InSo pleasantly surprised by this great location, and friendly welcome when we arrived late at night.
We got to use a chalet to ourselves as our private camp facility whilst parking our camper to sleep in our rooftop tent.
Really great value for money with all you need facilities.
Seems camp sites are not ready yet, hence owners graciously making these private wooden standing chalets available to campers. Great idea overall, and tastefully done. Paid only N$100
we camped at Kobus and Patricia's sunset chalets. The amenities from the chalets were great and the sunset was amazing. On top of it, Kobus helped us immediately and repaired faulty shocks on our motorcycle..
Report Check-InExcellent value for money. clean well appointed chalets/houses close to the main road. aircon, hotwater, no noise. very friendly owners. recommended.
Report Check-InWonderful place to stay. After 10 months on the road it feels a little bit like comming home. The owners, Cobus and Patricia, are really such sweet people. We could camp near a chalet and use bathroom and kitchen. We payed 200nd per night, but we didn't need elekticity. Everything very clean and nice. Cobus took us a day around his farm and showed us his beautiful sheep. We had a great time and will definitely come back if we are in the neighbourhood. Also very dogvriendly.
Report Check-Inthe campsite is not ready, they want to build one. so,they let us camp with our tent in front of one bungalow. we can use the kitchen, the braai, toilets and hot shower!!! very nice: like new and clean. amazing sunset. quiet,no noise. very friendly owner patricia with funny dog!!! we paid 225 for 2 people and one car. if you have the budget, they have nice rooms with a/c or the bungalow for 752. in the little town at 1 minute by car, you can find butchery, spar supermarket and gazole station. nice stop to go or come from RSA!!!
