Description
We didn’t camp here because we arrived early in the morning, but you definitely can! There is a beautiful waterfall and pool that you can hike down to and swim. Highly recommend at least a visit even if you don’t decide to camp for the night.

The Campground is ok, we paid 300 MXN per Person (and also 300 MXN for my dog). But the 300 MXN includes the Entrance Price to the Waterfall and Pools, which is really beautiful!
The road to get here is bumpy and a bit sandy, but I made it with my Fiat Ducato with no high clearance or 4x4
I have been told by the staff, that my dog is ok on the Campground and also on the Trail, even when signs say ‚no mascotas‘.
Be careful with the local dog, it looks like he has something like mange. So don’t let him come to close to your pet.
This is the trailhead to the waterfall. Cost $200 pesos per person. Kind of a private little ranch
Report Check-InVery nice place with a wonderful waterfall. however, we found the campground expensive (250pesos for one person) , if you come with family is quite expensive .. It's dry toilets and not very clean .. WE will go back for the waterfall but the price for the night was pitty, too expensive for so little infrastructure!
Report Check-InThis place is super beautiful. Camping area is small, room for only a couple vehicles. There is a door on the pit toilet now. Road in is fine for 2wd right now, sandy, but not deep or rutted. 250p/person for camping and waterfall access. It's very worth it for a night, something very different in Baja. The waterfall is amazing, and has lots of swimming holes up and down stream.
Report Check-InThe road is currently in good condition and it only took us about 15 minutes to get in with our 2WD Promaster. The camping has very few amenities, there is a garbage and organics by the restaurant and the camping area just has a pit toilet with no door. The water fall is super beautiful and you can explore up and downstream for ages. The rancho itself is cute with lots of animals around and it has a restaurant. It gets busy during the day so we hit up the falls in the evening and morning and had it to ourselves. $250/person for camping and falls access

Report Check-InBeautiful spot- the waterfall is pretty magical and more to explore both up and down river. The price for camping/waterfall entrance is now 250 pesos per person- pricy for a family and not much in the way of camping facilities. You can use the toilets in the restaurant while it’s open and then there is a pit toilet (with no door) at the gate to the waterfall in off hours.
Report Check-Instayed one night here, $500 pesos for the night. not sure the pricing here makes any sense. it was a beautiful spot down by the waterfall, def recommend just a visit if you don't want to stay the night.

Report Check-InWe spent one night here. We rented a little casita and it was lovely. We have a 22’ pop up truck camper and it was a bit challenging to park next to our casita. They have 2 or 3 camp spots that are good for bigger rigs. Tell them at least a day in advance if you want them to cook food for you. Beware of the white dog, he was a bit aggressive toward our dog (pets are fine in the campground and in the casitas) and tried to bite my wife and an another person.

You can charge your devices at the power outlet outside the restaurant. It closes at 05:00 p.m. or earlier, depending on the number of visitors.
There is access to a proper bathroom (without shower though).
It is only a 10 minutes hike down to the huge waterhole and waterfall where you can swim, refresh and clean yourself. ;-)
You can hike inside the Canyon as far as you desire. It is a scramble over rocks, but absolutely worth it!
Nice waterfall to cool off in. 150 pesos / person for just the waterfall and another 50 pesos person to tent camp. Great value. Quiet clean place. Fire pits, but bring your own firewood. Restaurant doesn’t open until 9am, so we didn’t have breakfast.
Report Check-InGreat spot, the waterfall and pool below it are perfect for a nice cool dip. Super well kept and clean. The camping is good and secluded from the cabanas, but in the path to the waterfall. The staff is amazing, especially Rebecca! Make sure to give the bald dog some love as he is very sweet, he slept near our camp fire with us for a while. They take in animals that need a safe place to live. There are donkeys, geese, rabbits, turtles, birds, goats, dogs, roosters etc...awesome work they are doing here. They lock the main gate at 6pm, which is nice, and also a chain was in front of the camp area all the time. Felt very very secure. Pit toilet in camping area was clean and wasn’t smelly. Water and flush toilets available during day at main house/kitchen. Breakfast was available when prebooked. Restaurant otherwise closed due to covid. 200 peso/person per night including waterfall access.

Report Check-InRoad to this place is best out of the three (sol de mayo, el chorro and Santa Rita). We were asked 150 per person for a day hike. Was too much for us. We had bracelets from the last night from el chorro and were told at el chorro that the bracelets would be good for the next day. They didn’t care at sol de mayo.

Google directions are fine/must have improved since others posted, we had no issues finding it. The price has seemingly gone up, we were charged 400pesos per day for 2 people.

No problem to get there with our class b. Watch for low clearance when crossing cow grids : there’s usually a path beside, open the fence, go and close the fence.
We arrived in the morning and paid 200mxp/person for one day and one night. The next couple in the afternoon paid 150mxp/person to swim and stay overnight and the following couple paid 130mxp/person for a couple hours. Everyone from the same country.
So I asked for a price list...
-200mxp for day+camping and checkout before 10am. 36mxp more to stay the whole day till 6.
-150mxp for day visit
-130mxp for locals from La Paz and Los Cabos
-2 person cabana : 1100mxp including entry, checkout at 12.
-4 person cabana: 1650mxp including entry, checkout at 12.
one of the most beautiful places in Baja, but not for RVs. I made it with my truck camper and I was really stressed. Tight, and almost impossible to turn for bigger RV.
Report Check-InWonderful quiet camping area near a water feature. 150 pesos per person. Restaurant serves breakfast. we were in two large vehicles and got in just fine. 8 feet wide, 11'6 tall and 26 long. See picture. Looked like the trees were freshly trimmed. Hike up the canyon a half mile for a water slide. Might be crowded on the weekend. Many animals like a petting zoo. Goats, chickens, turtles, geese, turkey, peacock, cows. Give the hairless dog a pretty too, he needs some love.

Report Check-InNot impressed with this place as a tent-camper. Spaces are very small (& crowded if other people). If you come on holidays/weekends many locals from Cabo so lots of noise. Had to wear earplugs to sleep. Waterfall is pretty.
Report Check-InCamped here for two nights with our Toyota Dolphin Motorhome (21ft). 150 MXN pp per night. You have a pit toilet in the back and flush toilets in the front. We parked on the left side when entering, creating a cosy little corner with small trees for shade, and put up our hammock. Lots of animals at the office building and the sounds of cows with bells roaming free. The lagoon is pretty as a picture and very swimmable in its various pools. Dogs are allowed on leash around the lagoon, but cannot swim in it. We did not do the other two options here (El Chorro, Santa Rita), so we can’t compare, but I would definitely recommend this place.

Report Check-InSpending the night at this tranquil place. Swam in the beautiful waterfall pool today which was very refreshing. We are the only ones here camping and it is very quiet. Flush toilets at the entry and pit toilet back in the campground. There is a water spicket next to us. 150 pesos per person/night.

After hours just climb the stairs to the unlocked and also clean flush toilet on the roof. They have cabanas for rent that have kitchens bathrooms and beds. Quite nice as we visited a family saying in one. They did the rental through airbnb. We truck camped for $150 per adult. Falls are very nice and refreshing. Non potable water available too.

Amazing lagoon and a welcome break from salt water. Price seems to vary on what type of rig, how many people and how much Spanish you speak. Good hiking if you follow the stream up the Canon. We're told the restaurant on site was great but we didn't eat at it.
Report Check-InWonderful and simple. Manuel the owner of the camp ground did say the spot next to the toilet is better, but that's because it has the most shade. One pit toilet, no showers, but the waterfall and swimming lagoon is awesome. The lagoon gets busy during the day with day users, but before 10am and after 4pm you have it to yourself. Although we are here in the summer and no one else is camped here. We were charged 300pesos for our first night even after telling him we had read that it was only 100pesos
Manuel says it's 100 pesos just for day use and 150 per person for camping and use of waterfall lagoon. He charged us just 200 pesos the second night. There are lots of fire pits and plenty of dry wood around to collect for cooking on an open fire.

Report Check-InVery basic campsite with only a pit toilet but the scenery makes up for everything. Your shower in the morning is just a small hike away in your almost private waterfall. We paid 100 pesos per person. The restaurant is open, but it seems only during the day.
Report Check-InThe campsite itself isn't anything special and despite what the friendly owner suggests, don't camp near the out toilet, the smell travels... But it was safe and friendly. 100 pesos per person. The gem is the hidden waterfall and swimming pool 10 minutes away by foot. It's super beautiful. We are shrimp tacos at the restaurant that were fairly priced and delicious.
