Latest Check-Ins

There was nobody when we arrived around 6PM. We made dinner at the parking lot in front of the camping. The lady showed up later and explained everything. She was friendly. We paid at the cafeteria by card, 5000 per person and 1000 per car. Cafeteria was full of cigarrette smoke. Camping area itself is not very big but it’s nice. Showers were hot and you can do the dishes in the bathroom’s sink, it has hot water.

Report Check-In

Excellent camp, everything works, now 5000 pesos per person, 1000 per car.

Report Check-In

Prices are up. Now 4000 per person AND 2000 per vehicle. A bit expensive considering you can wild camp at many spots in town.

Report Check-In

Hot Shower for 1000 per person. Friendly stuff and nice little girl who welcome us.
Only one women shower was working, but also my boyfriend took a shower there. (So less private) Cannot close the door.
All in all works.

Report Check-In

Really cheap, paid ARS 3000 (about USD 2.50). Good wind protection. Only the women's bathroom have water, but anyone can use it (now it's more a unisex bathrom). Electricity at some tents (but not in all). Terrible wifi,

Report Check-In

Showers still only working in womens bathroom. Toilets very dirty. Would not really recommend staying here.

Report Check-In

1500 per person. good hot shower but only working in the women's at the moment

Report Check-In

They let us use the hot shower for $500pp. It’s an old fashioned gas hot water heater. Not unlimited hot water but hot water all the same .. not super clean at 19h

Report Check-In

Open when we were there (17-19.1.23)

Snacks, drinks and real food available in the Camping Restaurant. breakfast, too. Restaurant opens late (after 9 in the morning).

They charged 1000 ppn in a tent. Some spots for cars

Report Check-In

Closed on June 25, 2022, we did not find anyone in town, I think because it was Saturday then we went back a few km to the gas station near Tres Lagos.

Report Check-In

Abandoned when we arrived, but gate was unlocked and two guys on bikes stayed as well and told us it's OK. Toilets and showers were still open and even had heating and hot water. Felt a little strange but it was already too late to drive any further. No one bothered us, so seems to be accepted.

Report Check-In

current price january 2022 is 800 ARS! nice Camping with good wind protection. showers and toilets look clean and good.

Report Check-In

we asked the price to set our tent for one night and the guy at the door first said 700 each then he lowered to 500 per person. a bit expensive considering that's what we paid for a bed in el Chalten in Casa Azul.

Report Check-In

Lugar tranquilo, nos cobraron 200 pesos por persona por noche.

Report Check-In

80ars pp for a shower, hot at first, just not cold after 1/2 minutes

Report Check-In

The price is now up to 300 per tent per night, we stayed one night and were planning on staying a second but had a bad experience and left to wild camp by the river instead. Very strange - we were sitting inside using the WiFi and the lady working there told us that in order to be allowed inside we would have to buy some food, that it was not included in camping. We were the only ones there and were sitting in silence so no idea why this was an issue, but when we said we didn't want any food she said we'd have to leave. We said this was ridiculous, as it was very cold and windy outside. She then actually called the police on us (we were being completely calm and polite). The policeman was very nice and understanding, we got the impression he has had to deal with crazy things like this from this woman before. Anyway we packed up and left, surprisingly did get our money back for the second night. Bad vibes as this place so wouldn't recommend, though to be fair the wifi was fast and the showers were hot. Just be aware that the common area is now apparently not included in camping.

Report Check-In

A small campsite. Just space for 2-4 vans and some tents (there seem to be more camp ground available, but wasn‘t open at our stay). Entry is a bit steep and narrow for bigger rigs. Bathrooms are clean, showers hot, potable water, electricity and a on/off-wifi available. All for 200p per car (no matter how many people). The only thing we missed were some kitchen sinks to do the dishes. It‘s sheltered from the wind.

Report Check-In

Hot showers, wifi, cummon area- very warm and nice- pizzas not so good, wind shelter for only 200 pesos for 2 pers and a camper. Good enough for me!

Report Check-In

It‘s a Nice Place! The campground is behind the building. With enough wind protection areas. warm and clean shower with an extra pressure pump. The owner was not there from 8pm to 9am. We put 200 pesos for us both into the door of the Cafeteria.

Report Check-In

Were here because road to Gobernador Gregores was not passable because of heavy rain. Nothing special but only 200 Pesos. Showers are warm/hot but not very long. The owner closed the cafeteria more times than it was open. All in all she seemed not very hospitable but for one night it was okay.

Report Check-In

Note: On check in the price was 100, when I paid the next day it was instead 200/night.
Maybe pay in advance.

Report Check-In

Hot shower here is worth the stop alone! overall really nice little place. im pretty sure they just turn the wifi is why its so "temperamental".
It went off around 10pm when we were in the common area, so we asked and she said it just happens sometimes, then she left and magically it came back on until we left 20mins later, then there was no wifi till 7:37am when my phone lit up with messages!
same the next night, great wifi all day until leaving the common area then magically gone when i left. That said i walked two blocks over during the day to buy wine & still had service!

Report Check-In

Great place. Actual hot showers! Lots of trees and fence for wind protection. Not the best, but big pizza for 220ars. Decent good wifi inside common area. Still 100ars pp. or “200 per tent”

Report Check-In

Beautiful camp ground in the back garden next to a river. Well sheltered for tents. The bathroom was closed after 10am the next morning so we were unable to have a shower.

Report Check-In

As said good bathrooms with great pressure in showers. Wifi was good she. it was working. Seemed a bit temperamental. Not sure really big rigs will fit as larger camping area has lots of low branches. We are 8m long and 3m tall and best spif was either behind building or just inside the other gate as trees were a problem getting further in. Two internet networks.

Report Check-In

Nice camping. Good wind protection. 100ap pP. Good and clean toilet and hot shower. Wi-Fi good if it works. No mobile coverage!

Report Check-In

Highly recommended, heated bathrooms with hot showers. For a minute we almost considered forgetting about the bed in our cold van and sleeping in the bathroom. Awesome wifi. Picnic tables and BBQs at each site. First campsite we have seen with picnic tables since we left home. 160 AR for the 2 of us in our Westy.

Report Check-In

Nice and cosy. Good wind protection. Hot showers with good water pressure all day long. Fast WiFi.

Report Check-In

We stayed here twice, because of the good Internet, witch is really fast. But both times, there was nobody arround until aprox 7pm. But we just stayed behind the house. The password is:
[passwords are not allowed unless explicitly permited by the owner]
. So you can use it even nobody is there. But the bathroom is closed until they open it (we had to ask first).
Still 160 for two people and a car.

Report Check-In

High season price is now 160 peso's. Very acceptable for what you get in return !

Report Check-In

Small camping with BBQ pits, electricity, tables and good wind shelter (wooden walls & trees). Stable WLAN and hot shower with good pressure, however, bathroom (with heater) would be much nicer if someone would clean it from time to time. Still 100 ARG for 2 in a rooftop tent & 20 each for the use of shower. A small shop and bakery in walking distance.

Report Check-In

great little campground with excellent wifi, hot showers until 10 am and welcoming heated indoor area. fire pits and trees/fences to provide shelter from the notorious Patagonian spring winds. 100 pesos total for 2 people, 1 car, 1 tent

For the price ok.

Report Check-In

Great place. 80 pesos for two with camper. Good value. Shelter from the wind provided by some trees, warm indoor area, friendly staff, hot showers, clean facilities, bbq stations and shop and bakery in town. Ideal stop if you're doing the long journey south towards el chalten or el calafate from perito merino or the cave of the hands...
