We couldn't find a better place to camp before crossing the border so we tucked in next to this little grassy hill on the side of the road. If you don't have a high vehicle you are hidden from the road.

Enough flat-ish ground for maybe x4/5 1-2 man pitches. Road noise a given but not that busy at night
Report Check-InNice spot to break the journey. We had no wind, but you hear the traficnoise. For us a nice spot.
Report Check-InWe stayed here in our campervan one night before crossing the border. You are pretty shielded from the highway by a hill. Unfortunately that hill tends to create a wind tunnel of sorts which made it a very windy spot. Cooking was a bit of a challenge, but it was fine for one night.
