Casa Cardon Restaurant is just a little away. It is a busy place with no parking. Just a luck if there was room to boondock.

100 pesos got us safe parking for the night, shade, clean toilets, outside showers, beautiful beach and some bugs.

Nice spot to recover from the ferry trip La Paz-Mazatlàn. Stone Island si a sweet place where to stay and Casa Cardon is one of the best spot. Meet the owner Freddy. He will probably let you stay on the restaurant property provided with the fact you kindly ask. Food is good, there is a beach cold shower and toilets. Really nice people and staff.

This is a restaurant on the beach at Stone island. The owner allowed us to camp here for 2 nights. We were only charged 20 pesos for over night use of the bathrooms and showers. You will be happy to find flushable toilets here as well as toilet seats. We parked right on the beach. Even on the weekend, it was pretty laid back. During the week, we were pretty much the only ones there. Much better than the busy town of Mazatlan.
