Description
Very nice campground suitable for tents (some tent sites have flat sandy pads) or big rigs with full hookups. Clean bathrooms with hot showers, spacious wooded sites. Even laundry facilities ($1.50/wash). There is a shooting range nearby so it can be a little noisy during weekend days. There is also a water park on site, open May-Sept and a winter light exhibit in December. Open year round.

stayed here two nights, unforunately for us during the busy season you are required to stay two nights. we were here from Monday to Wednesday during July and there was hardly anyone here. stayed in spot 66 near the bathrooms. bathrooms were clean ish, not the worst I've ever seen. everything just seems old so showers and toilets didn't work at 100% capacity. spot was spacious and there are lots of trees. however the price was atrocious. $90 after taxes (we also got a $4 AAA discount). I've stayed at campsites with the same amenities and area for 1/3 of the price. overall it was a fine spot but way too expensive for what it is.

Pros
- Quiet in the evenings
- Patrolled
- 4 Warm separate Showers (shower heads offered different quality of shower in individual bathrooms). Try your shower head before committing to a shower!
- Clean Laundry Facilities - $2 wash & $2 dry.
Cons
- Very Strict, unreasonable rules. Was asked at 6:30pm to turn off my camper van outdoor light because the neighbor (tent camping) was having trouble sleeping.
- The campsite has no outdoor lighting near the sites, making it unreasonably dark (especially if you aren’t allow to have outside lights on)
- in November they only had one bathroom open with 4 showers (not gender specific) for 150 campsites + Cabins.
- Must drive to dump area. Fine for our camper van but could be very inconvenient for larger vehicles or longer stays.
Nice location, clean, full hookup, pull through sites. Staff and campers were all friendly. The holiday light show was taking place the 2 weeks I stayed here. You plan your comings and goings around this.
