Description

Very nice campground with restaurant, small hotel, and swimming pool. Right on the beach not too far from the sand dunes. 150 pp, or 100 without the swimming pool. Showers and toilets are OK.

Perfect place for one or two nights to visit the Dunes. 100 pesos per person and 50 more the pool. A little noisy from the people who visit it.

Report Check-In

camped here for one night. amazing breakfast, wonderful food, tons of space. 100 pecos a night per person, +50 if you want to use the pool. Usable wifi at the restaurant

Big party place on a Friday night. The only thing that saved us from the insanely loud music was a thunderstorm.

Report Check-In

Nice campground. Has shaded parking spots with electrical outlets on the trees. The electricity was weak, but still kept our van charged. Great way to get out of the sun and still enjoy the beach.

The spots with outlets are under the trees. We were able to just fit under the canopy with our Promaster. Taller rigs might have a clearance issue, but there are open grassy spots too.

We arrived at 9am and we were allowed to stay until 6pm the following day. Paid $200 pesos total (for 2 people)👍 The dogs here are cute and friendly but a few of them would follow us around and annoy our dog.

Showers and bathrooms are cleaned in the morning. They do get a little messy by the end of the day with sand and water.

Overall nice spot and we’re happy we stayed here!

El Manglarcito is on the same lot as "El Manglar" they are both owned by the same family. son owns the larger, more established one. mother owns manglarcito. we camped on the grass, infront of the restaurant. there is also spots under shady trees. it was nice to have delicious food available at the restaurant. Doña letty (owner), angel (waiter) and ana (cook) are so kind, we were here for a week and they made us feel like family. the washrooms are clean, showers are clean too. i would recommend during the week as it is MUCH MUCH QUIETER than the weekend.

contrary to quiet weekdays (mon to thur) the weekend (fri to sun)is crazy; lots of loud music *battle of who has thenloudest speakers lol* the ATVS AND RZRS are going back and forth ALL DAY AND NIGHT. i swear i heard them at 4am on sat. cars can be lined up along the beach too. it's wild. i had never experienced this b4

you can connect phones and electronics to charge inside restaurant

there is no gate, but doña letty has plans to add soon. we felt VERY safe here and we were the only campers during the week.

lots of dogs~ we called them the paw patrol lol there were like 10 that stopped by every night. friendly

there is a sink that is infeont of washrooms were you can wash your dishes.

the sand dunes are close. very walkable. it was amazing

we paid 100mxp/adult and 80mxp/kid

you xan send whatsapp message to the owner doña letty +52 296 104 2721

Pulled into EL Manglar a little after dark. There are two restaurants and apparently some of the area for camping is run by one restaurant and some the other. We paid 100pesos pp without the pool. Parked between some palm trees backed up to the beach. We ate a delicious meal at the more southern restaurant with giant shrimp. Great service, bathrooms were clean. No toilet seats but that seems to be the norm in this area. We are traveling with three dogs who are very well traveled. They got along with the four or five dogs that live on the property fine. Very minimal barking by the property dogs and it was quiet during the night. No gate but what’s the point as the property is right on the beach and not fenced in. Plus their dogs are on it and don’t let anyone sneak on the property unannounced. Really didn’t feel like needing to be in a locked fenced area in this town. There are a lot of quads dune buggy’s and cars that drive on the beach but mostly during the day. We were the only campers and only a few day guests. The bugs were not bad the first night but the second night I was feasted upon and woke up with almost two hundred bites on my face and hands. I have camped hundreds of days in Mexico and never had that happen.

For us not the place to have a relaxed time. Shady site under trees for our van, but lot of noise / music from restaurants and bars and the pool. The beach was full of quads and bikes feeling like a motocross arena. There’s no gate to feel safe during the night. At night quiet because the locals leave in the evening.
Note: we came here on a Sunday, maybe other situation during week.
Prices as described.

good restaurant , showers, toilets , pool for free if you consume minimum 100 mxn per person. to stay overnight is another 100 mxn p.P. we quite felt safe everywhere and just used the place daytime also for hammocks and showers and parked in the road overnight

Early december on a Saturday: There are guests, but place by far not full. 3 or 4 tents with mexicans, overall a relaxed atmosphere at this lovely place. Amenities and prices as described.

Excelente lugar para venir a acampar con tu mascota!!! Precios accesibles en el restaurante, en el hotel y para el área de campamento, no dudes en pasar por aquí si tienes la oportunidad

If you are looking for a relaxing place this is not it!! So many people! So many quad bikes and beach buggies zooming around fast! So much noise and loud music from the restaurant, the pool and the other hotel close by. We paid 150pp per night. The guy that greeted us was lovely and the food at the restaurant was good but that’s about it unfortunately. Definitely wouldn’t recommend unless you’re looking for the noisy and overcrowded location. Shame as it would be beautiful if it wasn’t overrun!

Report Check-In

Restaurant with a big parking lot. I wouldn’t call a campground as it advertised. We stayed here on Monday and it was very busy. They parked us by the pool which was filled with kids. They assured that pool will be closed at nine and it did. But restaurant was still open with loud music. No electric hook up. Beach is wide and nice but very busy with people riding four wheelers like maniacs. I would never go back and wouldn’t recommend it.

Report Check-In

Stayed here based on previous reviews. I was the only person camping and the cost was 100 pesos with electric. The restaurant has good food and cold beer. Brown sand but lots of trash , still nice. Bathroom and showers available as well. Overall a great value

Report Check-In

A beautiful location right on the beach with rooms for rent, a swimming pool, camping with access to showers and toilets, and restaurant. The owners are amazing people.

Report Check-In

A fine overnight stop if you’re traveling in the area.

Report Check-In

No sites, just park wherever. No hookups at all, but one of the kids here is trying to find us a cable so we can run our rig like we need. The beach is amazing, though.

Report Check-In

Decent bathrooms, 100 pesos to camp without pool access. Camping area has bright projector lights on at night.

Report Check-In

Still 100pesos per person (without pool use). Bathrooms/showers very clean. Beach isn't amazing, but it's there if you like that kind of thing. A surprisingly peaceful night

Report Check-In

We paid 100 P per person, 60 P extra if you want to use the pool.
Few electric hook-ups, but no earth on them.
One bathroom, pretty disgusting.
Ok beach, and nice sand dunes to the left.

Report Check-In

Nice beach spot with beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Lots of trees that provide shade. 100 pesos/person as we did not use the pool. It was filled with kids anyways. Like everyone else has said, bathrooms are not well maintained although they do have a cleaning Crew for all the sand. We ended up using the beach showers outside instead. Also no power hookup.

Report Check-In

A good restaurant on a big beach. Pool decent but after an afternoon of vacationing families the bathrooms were some of the most disgusting we have seen. Ever. 200mx/night which seemed high but gorgeous morning before we headed out.

Report Check-In

Love love love!! Pool, beach, restaurant, showers, toilets, lovely people. Enjoy this slice of paradise :)

Report Check-In

This place is nice because it's right in the beach, but it's just a restaurant and campground. No hookups of any kind. We did not find wifi. It has a nice but bathrooms are less than nice. Very friendly staff.

Report Check-In

Very nice campground with restaurant, small hotel, and swimming pool. Right on the beach not too far from the sand dunes. 150 pp, or 100 without the swimming pool. Showers and toilets are OK.
