Mexico
Next to El Socorrito Village you will see a signal for beach/ RV park. The entrance is the same for "lots" selling. Is just next the beach. There are some primitive parking spaces and fire pits. Beautiful spot.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Went back today and saw they had done a lot of rock work that limited the traffic flow. I couldn’t get into where I stayed previous visit.
Report Check-InEasy to find. Primitive site. Was alone here. No one collected fees. Firepit.
Report Check-InYes, now you can overnight here only for a fee - 10usd or 180pesos. As big poster at the entrance says its now RV park.
In reality its just a dirt lot by the ocean. No amenities. Sunset was great. We were only ones in the parking lot. We had a good night sleep. Overall nice place.
Not free, shortly after we parked a man pulled up asking for $10usd. Decent spot, felt safe, but we didn’t stay.
Report Check-InEasy to access in our 2WD van. Arrived just as the sun was setting at around 7pm and we were the only ones there. Left at 930 in the morning and never saw anyone else. Nice flat ground and fell asleep to the sound of the ocean. Felt very safe and couldn't hear any highway noise.
Report Check-InGreat spot right on the beach. Beach is pebbly. A little windy as I write this but should die down. Not a soul in sight. Dead dolphin 100meters away on the beach so may be a little sketchy surfing. Very peaceful.
Report Check-InNice quiet beautiful spot. Excellent road in, very well maintained. I arrived about 4:00 pm and was alone, but three more vans/ campers arrived before dark. Felt very safe, well off the road.
Report Check-InGreat spot, stayed for two nights, wasn't bothered by anyone. Was able to have a campfire and let the dog loose. Lots of garbage.
Report Check-Invery nice sport!! plastics everywhere, accessible with 22ft rv, exposed, felt sketchy alone but it was safe, funky surfing waves
Report Check-InWe stay one night. Our first night on a beach. So we were litros scare. But beautiful spot!
Report Check-InBeautiful spot by the beach, with pit toilet which works in emergencies (chose the wrong taco stand at lunch?). Beautiful welcome to Mexico from USA where you'd pay way over $50 for this spot. Fun waves to surf and saw fisherman at night (Friday night). Think someone has moved into what was a show home due to lights on and WiFi but they didn't bother us.
Report Check-InGreat beach spot. We had it all to ourselves for a night. Gorgeous waves to wake up too. Easy to access just follow the signs that say To the Beach. Small wooden outhouse close by.
Report Check-InNice spot, we stayed one night. In the morning there were surfer and people were fishing. And we saw Dolphins.
Report Check-Innice spot next to beach. turn off the 1, go down the road, turn left just before the 'sales' trailer and go to the beach. didn't see anyone the night we stayed and no one bothered us.
Report Check-InVery quiet and beautiful place. Good for surfing . Easy access from the lots for sale (you go from the Fwy to the lots and then you take a left on the "to the beach" sign). Don't leave stuff outside the car cause a Canadian couple that stayed next to me got some small stuff they left outside Stolen.
Report Check-InEasy access off MEX1, follow sign to la playa and pick a spot. Great waking up right on the beach, we had a peaceful night here. Shame about the rubbish everywhere(like most of México).
Report Check-InGreat spot! Flat ground and stone beach in front. Easy accessible. There is a poorly handmade pit toilet, without door, but it does the job if you don't care about a little dust. In the morning we saw dolphins passing by a couple of times!
Report Check-InAs described, signposted from the highway, next to the model houses. Quiet night next to the stony beach.
Report Check-Ingood place for a free night but nothing spectacular! easy acces from highway!
Report Check-InGreat spot next to the beach. Simple wooden outhouse nearby the parking lot.
