For our Defender equipped with a cell we paid the price of a light car: 13692C (price including the driver). Adults pay 810C and children under 12 years old pay 485C. The ferry is large and spacious.

Didn’t book in advance. Passed through the line of trucks. Just crossed at 12:00 with our Chevrolet express converted. Paid 810 colones each + 11400 for the van. We mentioned it had no seat as it’s a “casa rodante”. Considered as light vehicle. 14502 total for 2 + the van

Comment below about 10am is incorrect. 9:00am or Noon departures. Will update main entry with correct times. Friends paid 15973 CRC for 2 people with Toyota Prado SUV + Roof top tent, Toyota Tacoma pickup w/ RTT was classified higher, we paid 22527 total. Doesn't seem like making a reservation would be a bad idea. At least we would have known the correct time 😂.

It's not necessary to buy tickets in the internet.
We arrived and it had a line for cars, while you waiting another has to down from the car and walking for buy tickets.

No es necesario comprar los tickets por internet.
Cuando llegamos había una fila de autos, una persona va pasando y te da una tarjeta donde dice que tipo de vehículo tienes y el que vas a pagar
Una persona tiene que quedarse en el auto para poder moverse si se mueve la fila y la otra pasa a la ventanilla a comprar los boletos.
Me pareció ver que hay 3 horarios
8 am , 10 am y a las 4 p.m.
Nosotros salimos el de las 10 a.m.
Nuestra combi vw pasó como vehículo liviano.
En total pagamos $14,502 en el boleto del auto te agregan a 1 persona y te cobran iva y en el otro boleto de la otra persona no pasa con iva.
Teníamos un billete de $50usd para pagar y no lo aceptaron, apenas y estaba roto, no era nada, pagué con tarjeta, no cobran nada extra.
No aceptan billetes de 10,000 colones.

BOOK YOUR TICKET IN ADVANCE ONLINE! Saved us a bunch of time and hassle, and we were able to skip the line when we arrived. Arrive about an hour before departure -- give time to have your ticket checked, load the vehicle, etc. Easy ferry ride - about an hour.

Tons of people on a Sunday afternoon. got here 1h ahead in order to have room. They charged 12,210C ($20) for a 4Runner + driver

As described before, we paid 17.200 for our van and 810 per person. No problem to go with your dog, the even have a special place for people with pey6on the ferry.

Smooth ride. As 10/08/18 prices are still the same. There is a special place for pets where you can sit next to them. Ac in the cabins, drinks and food available.

Just over an hour smooth trip. Showed up an hr prior the 2pm sail, no problem with getting on. A/C room, cantina, bathrooms and bar.

Ferry to Punta Arenas (1 hour). Prices and schedule attached in pictures. Paid 17,200 for our pickup truck w/camper + 810 for each adult. Nice large ferry with a/c, bathrooms and snack bar. Empanadas de Pollo w/chile sauce were solid.
