Latest Check-Ins

Spent a couple of quiet nights here. Easy access and quite a few spots to park up.

Report Check-In

Great spot with a lot of room & easy to maneuver. Easy to space out, a lot of area to walk & great sunset & sunrise. Plenty of areas for 4wd, high clearance, 2wd & bug rigs. Really pleasant for winter camping, no shade so summer could be too hot.

Report Check-In

Quiet, peaceful area, very widely spaced sites

We have a 36’ Class A with a Cherokee Trailhawk tow and parked and dropped at the beginning of the camping area and went to scout for a site that would accommodate us. The two forest roads, NPS-108 & 108A, and the other less formal “roads/tracks” can get pretty rough in places. We found a site with nice views of the lake and surrounding mountains.

AT&T coverage was pretty good, with 2 Bars of 5GE service and speeds up to 8 MB/s. There are no trees in the area, so we were able to receive all 3 SW Dish satellites and Starlink had speeds up to about 7 MB/s. We didn’t try to load any OTA channels.

Beautiful, peaceful spot above Lake Mead. Currently have a strong signal with Verizon.

Report Check-In

Plenty of open spots, but tons of wind. Wasn't busy, even on the weekend.

Report Check-In

Tons of space for any type of vehicle. Easy water access at Stewarts point, although maybe not for boat launch. 4 wheel drive / high clearance may be necessary for some of the spots closest to the water. Two pit toilets on the way in about 1/4 mike from the water. 2-3 bars Verizon 4G/ LTE.

Report Check-In

Nice place down by the lake marred by garbage. Com’on people pack it out and bury your poop!

Report Check-In

This place is pretty cool!!! We went down and camped right by the lake.... it’s free and pit toilets but the are at the top near the gate... lots of spots to set up... fun dirt lumpy bumpy roads to drive on.... the sad part is that people have abused the area and left garbage and poop :( cell service comes and goes

Report Check-In

Lakeside spots. Some spots require 4wd. We followed 108B. Some trash and poor poop etiquette. Bring a trowel people, and have some respect.

Report Check-In

Quiet, free, many spots to park. Lots of other campers about but enough space that it's still quiet and pleasant.

Report Check-In

Huge gravel lot with lots of parking for all sizes. You can park down by the water without 4x4 if it's dry. Beautiful view of the lake.

Report Check-In

Great spot with tons of boondocks sites.

Report Check-In

Amazingly beautiful spot! There are lots of spots perched right on the cliffs that overlook the lake. If you have a more agile vehicle, you should be able to make it down to the few waterfront spots. The road is partially paved in and then becomes gravel. The roads around the camping areas vary from being compacted like bumpy pavement to loose gravel and sand. There are spots from any type of camping and capability. Check out the Google maps satellite view to see the roads. 15 day max stay.

Report Check-In

Great boondocking spot camped in 34’ class A no problem.

Report Check-In

Lots of spots in this area. You can camp for free for up to 15 days. We found a nice site right down by the lake. Would recommend! Pack in and pack out, unfortunately people have been leaving garbage.

Report Check-In

amazing spot on the lake. we manage to camp just in front of the lake wirh our 23' class C motorhome (2WD) because it was dry. We have AT&T service. It's free. we stayed for 2 days enjoying the lake.

Report Check-In

Amazing spot. Great view over the lake. Despite the weekend only one more camper. Pretty quiet, but pretty windy too. Spent two nights. Would highly recommend this spot!

Report Check-In

Beautiful lake, lots of space to park/camp, but not much shade. We tried driving down to the lake with our regular van and almost got stuck in the Stones, so dont risk that without a 4wd. Toilets too far.

Report Check-In

Quiet and beautiful place close to the Lake Mead.
No amenities (pit toilet too far).
Little flies bite us, quite painful.

Report Check-In

Very nice place with great view over the Lake Mead, they were others campers but there is a lot of spaces to park. 4wd recommend for those closer to the water.

Report Check-In

Great and quit spot with several RV’s

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Fee camping near the pit toilet, free (it seems) down shoreline road. Beautiful beyond belief.
