Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Jorge Yee is the owner and so friendly! Easy to find with google maps. Clean!! He showed us the osmosis system and the UV light.
Typically closed on Sunday however he is cooking just past the shop underneath a red canopy. Sunday’s is a whole chicken, deboned, marinated. Friday’s is Asian menu. Anyway, he saw us pull up and said yes to us getting water. We are in a truckcamper about 3.38 meters high and 2.67meters wide 7.52 long as others have mentioned narrow but still had room if you aren’t a lot bigger. You do need to center in the middle of driveway to go under the structure which Jorge raised about a year ago. See photos.
No problem getting water on a Saturday. They had a hose. We have a 22 foot sprinter van. No problem with any overhead obstructions. Coordinates on iOverlander are correct even though this place is not marked on google maps.
Report Check-InStill 14p per 5gal. Ice is now 20p per bag. Clean establishment. Proprietor takes time to wash outside and inside of jug before filling.
Report Check-InWas able to access it in my lifted, super high roof, Sprinter 170 extended (in total about 25' long).
Someone previously mentioned a palapa structure blocking access for high vehicles. This was not present during my visit.
Paid $135mxn for somewhere around 100 liters. Vendor offered me a hose, but it didn't want to thread into my receptacle, so we switched to mine with no issues.
Slow fill, though. Took like 20 minutes.
Report Check-InBrought our 20ft pull behind camper into to town and they did not have a hose nor did the one across the street. We filled up with a mobile fill up that came through Santispac
Report Check-InGot water here. Great service. Quick and efficient. Right by gas station. Tight tight roads. You may not want to come through these streets if you have a big rig.
Report Check-In$14mxn to fill a garrafón (20 liters/5 gallons) and $10mxn for a bag of ice. Nice proprietor!
Report Check-InPerfect to refill our water tank with a hose provided by the man. We paid 90 pesos for 120 litres.
Report Check-InCaution this Aqua Purificada has low clearance, less than 10.5’ /3.2m ‘palapa’ over parking area. (Per our rudimentary measurements-YMMV). We parked at the Pemex and were able to use 20L ‘garrafón’ to transfer. Still $14 pesos per garrafón. Good service, good water.
