We parked at the Rosario vera penaloza. There are police in the corner. The place is busy, many people in the park during the day and someones at night. The place is safe, good ilumination, wather in the park and bathroom in the market jumbo at lola mora street.
We stayed for one week.

Ficamos 3 noites estacionados aqui e foi super tranquilo. Durante o dia deixamos o motorhome estacionado aqui e fomos caminhar pela cidade à pé. Super seguro.
Report Check-InLugar maravilhoso. Seguro e tranquilo durante a semana e também de final de semana. Pode deixar o motorhome e ir passear tranquilamente. Ficamos 4 noites.
Great and safe spot. Nice and quiet. You can leave your motorhome there and walk around, it's safe.
Report Check-InThis is at parking, so there is noise until 11pm, however after that it was very quiet. We had to take a parking spot a little further away when we're arrived during the day, then move over here around 6pm. Easy access to San Telmo by walking. If you want to travel around the city, be sure to buy a Subte card for easy subway and bus transport.
Report Check-Inwe stayed 2 nights. try to park under the trees otherwise you will burn out of your bed in the morning. this place is better if you have a totally equiped camper. no possibility to go to the toilet when shops are closed. also cooking outside is not in place. so we ate 2 meals at the mac donalds. friday was a good night, saturday was noisy.
we do have some tips for the city but we did forgot to place them on i overlander. so we are putting them here.
1. go out on a tango night at the beautifull old UNESCO Piazolla theater. the cost 1100 arg. pp. includes a tango lesson (30min), 3 cours dinner (3x3 options, 90min) tango show (80min) the show only is 250 but the whole night is just awsome!! really chic! the theater is on ""florida"" shopping street.
2. go to la barra neighbourhood and visit fundacion Proa museum. cost are:50 arg. pp. we had the exibition of Wei Wei wich was great!! we walked to la barra from here and had a nice lunch (milanesa) for 150pp there.
3. change money at one of the offices in flordida shopping street. we got more money for our uruguayen pesos.
This is the spot closest to the policebooth. We stayed for 8 nights, noisy during nights but it was safe. We saw more people sleeping in their cars and motorhomes here. Took a (very good) shower for 75pesos pp in "Loara's hostel" in the street "Estados Unidos" in San Telmo.
Warning: our bag got stolen in Palermo while we were having a drink INSIDE a bar-restaurant, the bag was tight in between our chairs. Don't know how they did it,we didnt see it happen, but it was gone!
Great place to stay, very quiet at night. There's a few water taps in the park with potable water. There's toilets in the Jumbo and on the bridge to the city centre. When they were closed at night we would use the bathroom in the Madero hotel (right behind the reception), they didn't seem to mind that we were not staying there and we even used the free pool table on rainy nights.
