Mirador de Jericó | Informal Campsite

Stayed on a Saturday night and it was as described previously, until 2am when 2/3 cars showed up and started playing music/drinking, which was far from ideal. It didn’t feel unsafe, just young people hanging out but it went on till about 4am so …yeah, avoid the weekend I guess.

Convenient parking for visiting and sleeping in Jericó. The view of the village and the surrounding mountains is very beautiful. The sunrise and sunset are wonderful! I recommend visiting the village, leaving your vehicle here and passing through the botanical garden. Jericó is truly a very beautiful village, perhaps even the most beautiful in Colombia! In any case it is authentic, not invaded by tourists and very colorful. Only downside for this parking lot, young people come here until around 10 PM to watch the sunset, smoke weeds and listen to music.

Very good spot to stay at night. Quiet and safe at night. Beautiful view ! Not far from the center and the botanic garden. Pretty flat. Few locals come for the sunset but then very quiet. Locals told us is very calm and safe here. No water (but you can find very clear water at the Terpel Station near the center), no WiFi.

Nice quiet spot with great views. On a Friday night we were alone from 8pm.

Stayed 1 night. Nice short walk to town. Tuctuc ride is COP 5000 back up if you need. Pretty quiet at night. Locals come up to smoke weed but they don’t make any noise.

muy buena vista y tranquilo el lugar. Llevar buen agua. Jericó es un pueblo muy bonito.

Just a perfect place to spent a night. Big rig friendly. The views are amazing. Short walking distance to the town whoch is not suitable for parking anyway.

we stopped here for the few. it's a good place to spend the night here. policemen visited our motorhome and gave us their telephone number. told that this place like the whole town is very safe.
we disided to stay in town at the parquadero of Don Charlos.

we stayed here friday and saturday. no guard was here, but it is low season. between 6-11pm some younger on motos doing business. police is informed and watching the place. so tell the police when you want to overnight here. otherwise as described before. jerico is worth a visit!

Bel emplacement pour visiter la ville et passer la nuit.Aucune commodites.
C est le repere des motos,bruit jusqu a minuit apres c etait calme.

Es un lugar con una vista maravillosa. Un sitio muy tranquilo, seguro y con acceso a agua potable. Queda muy cerca del pueblo y conecta con el jardín botánico.

parking en haut de la ville avec vue imprenable sur la ville. juste à côté du Christ Rey. 10min a pied du centre ville en passant par le superbe jardin botanique.
aucune commodités. un peu bruyant.

Gravel parking lot. Saturday and Sunday guarded during the day. Very quiet at night.
Make sure you take the footpath through the botanical garden to the town.

About 1 hour from La Pintada. Great place to spend the night up high in the cool climate. Good view of the town. Everyone is very friendly and says it’s no problem to sleep here. No amenities. Free!

Quiet place even on a Friday night. Gondola not functioning when we were here. There is a small snack & drink ( including beer) tienda at the lookout.

Preguntamos en la policia y ya no dejan dormir en el parque principal pero nos dijeron que podíamos venir acá que es tranquilo. El lugar es amplio, la vista es hermosa y el lugar tranquilo. No hay baños no agua.
