Great views, better than government wash! I’m in a conversion van so I didn’t push my luck when I started to hit soft sand and stayed as close as I could. Only dry camper here, not a lot of trash so thank you to people who pack in, pack out and clean up after others. Come prepared so you can stay a couple nights.

great views. we took our 35ft 5th wheel down here. its a pack it in pack it out! I picked up 10 trash bags of trash and a BBQ grill someone left. there are dumpsters at the entrance so no need to trash the place. again beautiful views and very quiet.

nice view. you can swim. you'll need a good car if you want to park next to the water. I have a roadtrek 1997 and won't come back, the little road to get there was too rough.

Nice place but a lot of trash around. Good water access

Many nice places to camp without shade at Lake Mead. There is swimming access. It´s amazing to find such spots for free close to a big city like Las Vegas.

great spot for a night or 2 especially if you don't want to pay the high price of saying in Vegas. only down side as mentioned is there is a lot of broken glass.

It’s one of many free places to stay without any constructions... if you don’t have a 4 wheel vehicle maybe not the best option because there’s a lot of sand on the last two miles. We ware lucky to made it with our Toyota previa 91... bring wood, water and food. You can’t find any around...

As far as free camping goes, it is beautiful. But as far as free camping goes, the area is littered with glass and garbage. It is very dirty and actually seems dangerous without good footwear, but if you are willing to walk a distance off the beaten path, you can still find some decent places to swim that isn't littered with glass. Near the flat areas to camp, fire pit rings old and new are lined with nails and other pieces of metal. Don't get me wrong, beautiful (as you can see in the pictures) but like a lot of accessible free spots, just disrespected. I cannot believe people treat the land like this.
